    Nationwide gave brooksi a savings account .. not sure of the details around it but if you just need somewhere to put money it might be worth a go .. bit of a long shot though!

    brilliant idea - im sure they give you savings account same day if you do it in branch :T

    Was that for a savings account or a basic account?

    I know they are not bankrupt friendly anymore but check out the link I posted as it was only a few months ago that Brooksi did it but she did go into the branch and talk face to face!

    courage is in my boots or in the smelly stuff beneath them don't feel i can face the world least of all a bank today.

    just remember many have been down this route before you, and it will get better.

    when your low like this its best to put on your nicest clothes, make up and perfume on before you face the world. ive had to face banks and the like before when feeling low and just went out looking as bad as i felt, somehow it feels like people pick up on this and make you feel worse. doll yourself up - it does give you a bit of confidence.
    when you go in the bank - just remember, your just as good as them and you are offering them your business.
