08/08 (do you not have a name.lol) take some deep breaths and a step back. Take one thing at a time. Ring H/B again and explain. If still no go speak to OR this afternoon and see what they suggest.. Then if still not getting anywhere ring LL and explain aout payments no need to go into to much detail.D

    hi scarlett.

  • at a push how about writing a brief note to landlord explaining that due to a few 'unexpected problems' and as you are in the process of changing bank account unfortunatley the rent may be a week or two late this month. and that you are very soory and have done everything in your power to ensure timely payment. grovel grovel grovel, sorry sorry - wont happen again.
apply for basic account, send rent asap. we had to do a similar thing with a landlord a few years back, he was surprisingly good about it.

sorry its all getting on top of you x x x

will hb not do anything as a one off, exceptional circumstances and all that?

Hate to say it, but how about that 'thinkbanking' account, it costs £12.50 a month, but it might get you out of a hole right now and give you a bit of breathing space to get yourself sorted. You only have to give 2 weeks notice if you want to close it.

yes peachy, think banking might be a way forward - i will look into that now.
post office accounts are NO GOOD for housing benifit payments. only income support, jsa etc.
