Pushchair to fit in the boot of a 107/C1/Aygo

  • Hi

I have a red 107. Absoulutely love it! Had the car two years then started a family. Would never get rid of my car!
My daughter is now 13 months old
I have a quinny buzz which is my winter pram and the one I mainly use for walking. To fit this in the car I take out the parcel shelf, fit the wheels into the boot and then the seat part of pushchar sits on the front seat.
My summer stroller and buggy for the car is a maclaren quest. This just folds up and fits the length of the boot. parcel shelf still fits so it stays in the car all the time (its not on show).
I did look at the zapp but a friend had one and I didn't think it reclined and she couldn't hang the baby's bag on it without it tipping.
I'm a big fan of maxi cosi car seats. had the baby one on a isofix base which was fab (think it might fit on the zapp) and now have a priorifix which is the sitting up chair - pricey but worth it.
Hope this helps - any other questions just ask

Had a C1 and the Quinny Zapp definitely fits in. The Rhythm model of the C1 also has the isofix fittings for car seats. But no, the Zapp isn't suitable from birth. Prob your best bet is the sort of buggy where the car seat clips ontop of it - then the buggy itself is just a metal frame, which should be compact.

I've just bought the Bugaboo Bee for my impending new arrival!
It's really compact and a dream to push, it's also suitable from birth. I got it mainly because I don't have much room at home to store a pram and I wanted something light and easy to use on public transport.
You can also get adaptors so you can fit the Maxi-Cosi car seat onto it.
    Good luck with your decision.
  • I have a Petite Star Zia and love it, it's folds down so small and opening and closing it is a dream. It's also wonderful to push. I can't understand the bad reviews  but each to their own!

I just found this one, it looks so lovely with the baby nest thingy. Have noted measurements and will measure my boot later to see if it might fit (bit pricey but heading to USA in Jan and can get it for about £280 over there rather than £360 here!). Although might be able to get one off ebay, but still quite a lot.

I'm so glad there is someone else who has my car (well you know what I mean) and has got a pushchair and baby in it ok- I love my car and even traded in my 3 dr for a 5 dr to make it easier for when we have a baby (I love my extra doors) so glad to hear you got a Buzz in there, will need to look at the dimensions on the web- cheers x

You always get either love it or hate it with reviews. I hear there is a new zia4 coming out which can have a car seat attached, but not an isofix one (think I will want to get a maxi cosi one with a base). I like the look of the zia so thanks for replying Loopy Lobes ;)

we have a clio and i'm going for the luna - its folds down small, is inexpensive and you can buy a carrycot for it if you'd prefer to use that from birth. With the cot it comes to under £200 which i think is great value. its also good looking! the cot is soft too so i imagie you'd be able to squeeze that in as well. :)

Our Aygo currently has a Quinny Buzz sitting in it. Main chassis with wheels still on in boot, seat part in back seat.
