My pack (from HSBC Life) came today and I applied a few days before this thread was started, so patience, people. I'm suspecting they have had a bit of an influx, shall we say?

M+S go through the applications by hand rather than it being all automated, the number of applications that they received will have delayed their normal turnaround.


A few of us that applied a week before it was posted on here and HDUK have received our policies. My premium was loaded by 1.00 a month due to health self disclosures. _pale_

Nope no email at all, I was phoned late, on the day following my application, caller said "Soz we havent phoned you we have been inundated" and that was inundated before the offer was told to the forum world. :rotfl:

A telephone appointment time/date was then agreed for their nurse to phone.
