that's what we use the Italian bake for too, but I've only ever made the plain one before, thanks for inspiring me to try something new
but I might have to invest in some proper sun-dried tomatoes now
as you already figured out, the small lop-sided loaf indicates not enough liquid
give the passata a try next time, I got mine in Tesco for 39p & it looks like there's enough for two loaves, if I don't use the bit left over in time, I'll just put it in the freezer till I'm ready for it
I'm sure your loaf will taste good anyway :A let me know how it goes
I bought some passata, so I'll wait for the next loaf!0 -

everyone loved mine, so I'll definitely be making it again, thanks again for inspiring me to try it
PS ... my youngest son particularly liked it with scrambled eggs on top, nice contrast in flavours & it looked lovely
*considers how pretty scrambled eggs with chives would look on it* :think:0 -
got my new kenwood 450 BM and tried it last night...........awesome! Any of you ladies with the same model, feel free to pass on tips!In the middle of difficulty lies oppurtunity0

Yes, I bought one a few months ago to replace my old Cookworks one.
It's fantastic, I use it every day, and also make gluten free bread for a work colleague a couple of times per week.
It makes 3 different sizes M, L and XL.
The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't set the timer for 'dough only'.
Our particular family favourite at the moment is rye bread.0 -

I find that irritating as well, cos you can't have the pizza dough timed for walking in the door, you have to do it on a day when you're going to be there."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

I wish they would make the pan slightly longer as medium, large and ex large is just about how tall the loaf is, not that you get extra slices out of a loaf.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -

Luckily, I have a second fridge in my utility room, so I've started making the dough the night before and leaving it in the fridge until I'm ready to use it.
Still not ideal though0 -
Cooking Mama , i've merged this with the main Panasonic thread
Did you check the manual? My computer keeps crashing but it will have the times in it
From the manual -Bread Size XL (approx. 1.2kg), L(approx. 1.0kg), M(approx.450g)
ZipA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

:jI have so far made 2 x rapid bake loaf and one egg enriched white loaf in my new kenwood 450bm. Awesome! I can see what you all mean when you say that you can't eat shop bought bread now. Going home to make jam tonight. If any of you gals have good recipes to pass on which you have tried and tested, I would be very gratefulIn the middle of difficulty lies oppurtunity0
