....a recipe posted ages ago by a member called Posh Paws, it's seedy & has quite a few ingredients but is well worth the effort
if you're interested, I'll PM it to you, not sure we're allowed to put recipes in this thread :o
I'd like the recipe too if you wouldn't mind [I'm pretty sure there are a few others on this thread if you don't want to send loads of pm's!] as I adore seeded bread!

I make my white bread with 1 1/4 teasp yeast [the one in the orange packet & rhymes with Love ;)] 20oz bread flour, 2 teasp sugar, 1 teasp & 340ml of water. I don't add any fat at all & have reduced the sugar, salt & water from the recipe but we like the taste & texture. I think you need to be mindful of a recipe but tweak it to your own taste & obviously that takes a bit of time.

I love my pannie & can't imagine going back to shop bought bread as a regular ever again.

    Hi BigMumma :)
right, you've convinced me, I'll post it here for all to see :D

I can't find PoshPaws' original post, I think it might have been someone else who put it up it having already been given the recipe by PP, iyswim :o
anyway, here it is, sorry I've only got it written in my book in Imperial

    PoshPaws' Seeded Bread
    (adaptation)
    1/2 pint water
8oz malty flour of your choice
    8oz strong plain flour
    1 Tablespoon oil
    3 Tablespoons rolled oats
    1 + 1/2 teaspoons honey
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 + 1/4 teaspoons yeast
1 Tablespoon of seeds of your choice (or more, I sometimes use 6 or 7 :D)

I've tried this on a seeded setting, medium loaf size, in a Morphy richards, a Panny & a Kenwood & it's worked well in them all, thanks PoshPaws :T

aha! :) HERE is the link to the post where I originally found PoshPaws' bread recipe

I want to make sure that if she happens to read this she knows I'm not trying to take the credit for it :A

PS ... remember if you're using linseed for its nutritional value rather than just texture, you need to crush or mill it to break down the seed coating, otherwise it'll be undigested
  • :hello:Just added a thread asking which bread maker is best, Panasonic or MR, then found this one! Would be really interested to see which one turfy prefers between the two BMs. Any oppinions welcome though!
