I`ve got the SD254 and there are no jam instructions for mine either.

I don`t think that the panny can make it. Only thing that i can think of is to get a jam recipe from someone with a different breadmaker or look online for instructions for other bm`s and try one out.

I always use a huge pan for my jam but would be tempted to try some of the microwave recipes that i`ve seen posted on here in places. I`ve recently seen a recipe for microwave lemon curd and was going to try it to use up some old lemons that i have in the fridge but can`t find the recipe now. Wish i`d bookmarked it :o

My Mum always calls em destructions too :rotfl:

I have an SD253 Panasonic breadmaker too. As far as I am aware you can't make jam in it.

I have made lots of lovely bread in mine. The only problem I have had is that the recipe for pizza dough comes out very sticky. I have experimented and cut the water down from 210 ml to 170ml and that has solved it.

I have a brand new breadmaker that has never been used, and its sitting on top of my unit in the kitchen:o:o:o its on my list of to-do things to figure out how it works I have had it for about three years now ,so one day perhaps I will get around to it:o:o:o God knows why I bought it ,a fit of daftness I think. it hardly seems worth the effort when there is only me to make for and I don't eat a great deal of bread anyway, less than a small loaf a week.
