This might sound daft and i`m sure that you have already done this but when it`s switched on at the socket have you pressed any of the buttons?
have you also tried it in a different plug socket just in case thats the problem?

Yup, pressed everything I can to see if I can get some life out of it. Held down buttons as well, but theres no life in it at all. Tried different plug sockets and replaced the fuse. It's just not playing ball.
Now I have to visit Comet and see if they'll replace it or send it away for repair. I could be without my breadmaker for a whole month!0 -
Aw feel so sorry for you, i`d be lost without mine.
Fingers crossed for you that they just do a straight swap and you can take a new one straight home.

Hello,
Does anyone have their recipe book handy? I set a sundried tomato and parmesan loaf going this morning... and I didn't put butter in - I don't know if it's because it's not required, or if I just missed it off!
Am I going to go home to a disaster, or a delight? My TV is broken!

Were the sundried tomatoes in a jar with oil? If so, you should have enough. If not, sorry , don't know, but the cheese does have some oil content.0

I have made a lot of successful loaves since I got the Panasonic sd55.
Today I tried to make a seeded loaf. I put all the seeds in the dispenser. but they didn't go into the bread.
It says to use basic raisin bake. But every time I got it on to raisin it set on to rapid bake. So I just left it at basic bake and hoped for the best. Well it didn't work.
So , do I need to use rapid raisin bake then please?Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

I've just tried setting mine and it does do basic raisin (4hrs) Did you press select for basic ,then option to get raisin? The only other thing that once happened to me is that the dispenser was a bit sticky from the dried fruit I put in the time before and I had only given it a quick wipe without taking it out properly(slapped wrist for me).Anyway the stickiness prevented the little trapdoor from opening to let the seeds out.
Sometimes if you try to reset it you have to make sure you hold the start button down for a good few seconds to clear it properly.
Sorry if you know all this-they're the only things I could think of,other than a faulty Panny.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Last time I did a seeded loaf something very odd happened... the trap opened far too late and I ended up with a loaf with seeds stuck all over one end... meh. I did a sunflower loaf in my mum's and the trap didn't open at all, and I'm pretty sure I set it to raisin.
It's definitely got to be 'raisin' or the trap won't open. But then I'm starting to come to the conclusion that it might be better to just shove the seeds in at the start...My TV is broken!

thanks for the replies. I can set it for basic raisin. but when I try to change the size from extra large it goes to basic bake.
Do you leave it on x large ? can you only do the seeded on x large?
Sorry for all the questions.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

You set the size and then choose the raisin option.0
