mardartha, deebee, thanks very much for that, I was hoping it would be ok.
I'm the same with bread mix deebee, I've bought a box full in the ASDA two for £1 offer. Now I know I can get the granary one next time! I eventually want to make up my own mix, but that appears too adult for me at the moment!0 -
My panasonic has a seed dispenser so if that's not intended to bake granary bread in it I have no idea what it's for! I've made loads of seeded loaves in mine, no problem.0

Does anyone know if you can safely double up the ingredients to make pizza dough in the panasonic breadmaker. The recipe states 300g of flour which makes 2 x thin crust 10" pizza. We all have hearty appetites and I want to make 4 pizzas. Having looked through the recipe book the most flour used seems to be 550g. Will 600g be safe, or would I risk breaking the paddle?
Any advice gratefully received.0 -
i personally would think it would be ok - i think these recipe booklets just give you the basic recipesThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

I've lost my instruction book and want to start using this again.
Can anyone who has got one tell me the amounts for large white basic loaf please and remind me how to do it?
I'd be very grateful. Also any ideas on how to get a replacement book longer term?0 -

Thank you so much. Where did you locate that document? I tried googling for mine but nothing much appeared.
From memory, that looks very similar indeed so if all else fails will definitely give this a go.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.0 -
Maggie, you are more than welcome! I guess it won't change much from version to version, probably more likely the features are slightly updated with each but the recipes remain.
I just googled "panasonic breadmaker instructions". First i checked the panasonic site but they didnt have them. The model number is probably too specific so wouldnt find ones with different model numbers. IYKWIM
Re new book, you could print that off the web, or contact Panasonic but i suspect there would be a charge although I'm not sure. I got my BM off freecycle, so only use printed version - with most important page sellopataped up inside my baking cupboard on the door for easy access. I have the dough page and coversion page tucked away behind that to lift out when i need
Enjoy:DA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Hi littleredhen, posted a reply on 17/4 but it's not showing for some reason. Anyway it was a thank you for your reply. I've since read the dough section of the recipe leaflet properly and it does say you can use up to 600gms of flour, so it is safe to double up the recipes. Did the pizza on Saturday and used 500 gms of flour and increased all other ingredients accordingly and there was plenty for the 4 of us. My pizza dough spinning needs some practice though!!0

I always double up on this as we have 2 pizzas to eat the day they are made and 2 go in the freezer for another night.0
