If anyone is interested the B&M near me had Hovis granary bread mixes for 29p. They say best before March 2009 but I only got two so they should get used soon.0

Sorry if this has been asked before but finally got a Panasonic sd255 and I'm a bit worried about the amount of noise and vibration it makes when it's first mixing - you can really see the machine moving, it dances across the worktop!!
I made a small loaf today (250g of mix) and it seemed worse. Is this normal??
The bread it's making is great though, just worried it might be faulty and need replacing.
Many Thanks.0 -

Can you tell me what mix you used, and what setting etc? my DD has to go on a wheat free diet from next week . thanks0 -
I've recently bought myself a Panasonic Breadmaker and I'm delighted with it. It really is as good as you all said it would be.
However, I do have a question I hope someone can answer. The instruction manual seems to imply that you can't make a granary loaf as the seeds and grains may scratch the non stick bread pan. Surely this can't be the case, as I was really hoping to make some granary loaves. Have I misunderstood?0 -
I've had mine about a month and I make them no problem. It gives you recipes in the manual so I supposed it was ok to make it0

have made loads of these - usually with the 'hovis' granary bread mix - I am sooooo lazy, no problems here0
