I have twin boys who start P1 in August. The school they will be attending has a school uniform with distinctive markings on the jumper (Navy blue with a thin red band, a thicker yellow bang and another thin grey band on the V neck).
Does anyone know where these sort of things can be bought online? I was hoping there was a site that asked you to enter the colours you wanted and WOOSHHH, 20-30 websites appeared advertising their wares & offering me my bespoke jumpers at a more realistic price than what we have to pay: £14.99 (x 2, 5 year old boys x dirty every day x Scottish winters = lots & lots of jumpers!)
Anyone know the answer to my prayers?

I don't know if this site is of any help?

No uniform as such here, except a school sweatshirt which they don't have to wear :).

  • Im very surprised that sainsburys uniform has not been included in your recommended school uniform offers Martin- I have been buying sainsburys clothing for over 4 years now, especially schoolwear. The quality is very good and styles offer various benefits such as teflon stain replent, adjustable waists on trousers and skirts and whats even better this years prices on various core products are from £2! its seems the quality remains just as good as last year too which is fantastic.

For those of you that haven't bought sainsburys school uniform you should give it a go!

I agree about Sainsbury's. Also check out the end of season rails for summer dresses. Last year I bought my daughter 4 [very nice] school dresses for £6.

    Have you tried Ebay?
Next show them when you go to their online shop also.

I agree, all DS1 school uniform has to have the school uniform. But last year i got the trousers from Sainsburys, and they lasted all year. And that's some feet for my football loving, wall and tree climbing boy. 2 pairs adjustable waiste £4. Just a pity every time i go in, they don't have the size I want. :(

Thanks i manage to get a couple from ebay all second hand though they are so expensive new i dont understand why black is harder to get then grey and navy!
  • I went to M&S yesterday as I was impressed by the thought of quality uniform for rock bottom prices, but when I was directed to the OUTSTANDING VALUE range of uniform that was featured and I started to look for the sizes I needed for my children the picture was not as rosy!
The smallest sizes of the uniform were indeed at the prices as stated, so if you have a child that is just starting school you are in luck, but as you increase in age you increase in price quite substantialy. I priced up uniform for both of my children and it worked out at nearer £20 per child per uniform than £8.50. I must say I was disappointed but not entirely suprised. I shall be sticking to Sainsbury's and Adsa for my uniform I think!
