  • Aww you guys are lovely!
Thanks for all the suggestions, and special thanks to you Dee, I have pmd you.

I did look up offers, which is why we chose to go to Chessington, yesterday Sky Perks had it on bogof.. however I went back on today and it had changed to Kids Go Free (no use to us!!) I thought I was going mental for a while.... maybe I am and I was seeing things yesterday!!!

Being a true mser I have spent the last hour typing in google searching for cheaper options/offers, as I am so frustrated that the Sky deal is gone!

Also there are 3 of us, so if I get a bogof voucher 2 tickets on bogof for my sisters, I was wondering whether I have the bravery to offer to split the ticket price with a random stranger who is there paying full price......:rotfl: Anyone else ever attempted this??? Do you think I should???

Hi Bluejeans , Jo I love that you're keeping up with my thread, and you are very welcome to post whatever you want! Without your thread, I dont think I would have had the guts to start one of my own:T

  • Update, on people's advice, I nipped to Tescos to see if I could find a walkers crisps with a bogof voucher on, and I did!

I cant say just how grateful I am that there were people willing to send me vouchers though, people on here are soooo sweet it's untrue; really touched me that you guys were willing to save me money xxx true mse spirit :)

So now I am raring to go next Thursday, and will be so proud of my money saving skills... just got to work out whether I am brave enough to accost a complete stranger.... "Erm, excuse me, are you paying full price to get in here... only I am by myself and have a bogof... would you be interested in splitting the cost of a ticket?"

Just the thought of it makes me cringe!!!

I'm guessing couples / teenagers..... problem is I'll be with little sis, who is 20, living at home, earning, doesn't know about my debt problems - and hates that kind of brazeness!!!!!!!!!!!! arrgh!

  • What a RIP OFF! Alton Towers on the day prices are £35 whereas to book online is only £28... but you cant use the vouchers online...

So, me and my sis will be splitting the cost for the 3 of us between us, so it will be £35 each, which is still better than £42each that it would be if we booked online for the 3 of us... but not that much better....!

Maybe we could book one ticket online for £28, and then get 2 on the gate for £35 = £63, £31.50 each.... hmmm. Any suggestions? x

  • Hi mm, thanks! Once I get it into my head how much it will cost, I will be okay, it's just the planning of it all really. I plan to enjoy it! DH is too overweight to go on theme park rides, so I haven't been to one in about6 years!!!
