has anayone in here gotten into the payday trap due to gambling....
Oh btw i forgot to mention it was gambling and alcohol - i got drunk first then always ended up at the casino. not really an online fan.....
am with attending meetings on a regular basis - and keeping sober at the mo - not the easiest of things when i am constantly short by about 800£ every month to get through....Total Debt including family & friend £35550 - April 09

hey,
am already on the debtfreewannabe and got the link to this thread from there... already in the process of trying to get things back on track just alot easier said than done. esp since the casino i used to go to is on the train on my way home. have now decided to keep my head burried in either a news paper or book all the way until i am out of the underground which is when i am several stops away all the while listening to my ipod on full (not doing my hearing any good).Total Debt including family & friend £35550 - April 09

TB - you just think of yourself and if OH sorts himself out then good for him. you seem a lot happier so thats a good thing
welcome superstar, take a look through this thread for some handy tips, weve all been through what you are going through so feel free to ask as much as you wish. its not easy and with some will power and putting a few things in place (like reading a paper when you pass the casino) you can do it.
cantcope is spot on, 1 day at a time.
2 weeks time i get my 1 years pin. nearly a year without the horrid gambling and the horrid feelings, the lies, the staying up until stupid o clock to find out bolivian football scores. ive got more time with my kids, become more honest, im dealing with my debts and best of all ive still got a family.
it really isnt worth it0
