Was a tough day. Blew up at my hubby for the silliest little thing He expects me to know everything and when i dont he doesnt help me, just watches me get frustrated and upset. He says i didnt give him enough time to realise i was struggling.
Set the tone for the evening unfortunately after a really lovely morning.
We are ok now but i always feel very down the day after i've caused an argument It didnt make me want to gamble though so thats a good thing. I just wanted to curl up into bed and cry (cheaper and less soul destroying)

Hope you had a better day Can'tcope - I guess we all have bad days sometimes, but the fact that it didn't make you want to gamble is a big positive to take from it. So every cloud and all that .

Busy day at work for me but didn't feel like I got a huge amount done - going to have to really knuckle down tomorrow and clear a load of things. Still being busy can make the day fly past. Got home a cooked a massive load of pasta so that should be lunch done for tomorrow too then seeing the rents for dinner in the evening so fingers crossed tomorrow will be a better day.

All nice and calm at home now so looking forward to another good week. My work lately has been dull dull dull as i am on a project i dont want to do that bored me to tears. Only 2 more weeks (i hope) then i can get back to what i do best at work

Great to be so busy Madone. Although you feel like you didnt achieve, unless you sat on your hands all day you must have got something done. YUM at the pasta. I'm on Rosemary Conley at moment so pasta portions are teeny tiny
Weight i put on when i quit smoking over a year ago is coming off though. Only 3 more lb to go!

Just lurking, but doing ok. Pleased you had an argument with hubby cantcope, I was beginning to think you were perfect, Lol. Only kidding, it is a great testimony to how far you've come; not just because it didnt make you feel like gambling but because you also felt like curling up and having a cry. An argument in your gambling days probably wouldnt have had effected your feelings in the sllightest.

I've been really busy since I posted last week lots of extra counselling and support, its payday on Friday and I'm going to Newcastle just putting some barriers in place, hopefully I wont need them but why take the chance.

Gambling thought X Gambling opportunity = Gamble.

Gambling thought X No gambling oppotunity = Gambling thought, or no gamble.

To remove the gambling opportunity I have to make sure I have no excess cash, infact no cash, on me on my journey home and that I dont have too much time hanging around at Kings Crosss before my train. I dont feel at all vunerable but I've been here before.

I do feel like posting replies to all on here but time is very scarce at the minute I will endevour to catch up as soon as I can.

No i can confirm that i am not perfect lol. I know my weaknesses though and work on them as best as i can. I'm impatient, condescending sometimes i will not accept that i should settle for anything less than perfect for me though. I dont think thats a bad thing but maybe as i work on my personality that will ease.
It's a long road.

Definitely a good things to plan ahead to ensure there are no triggers for your gambling. Why risk it for the sake of a little planning?

Hey all, haven't posted for a while cause have been so busy!!Things still going well for me on the gambling front but have been spending too much money on other things!! Need to reign my spending in somewhat!
