Hey not been on this bit of the forum for ages as iv been managing really well however today gambling is all I can think about iv not ventured onto the computer as I dont trust myself. Im going to have a nice hot bath and hope that after some sleep il be back on track. I actually cant remember the last time I gambled possibly a year if not two which is good this is the first time iv thought about it just need these thoughts to disappear

Dont do it buddiebabe. Go back tot he start of this thread and read it through. Remember how you felt, you dont want to feel like that again for the sake of a scratch card. You know that even if you won the chances are you'd spend at least half if not ALL of the winnings on more scratch cards eventually xx Come and post today and let us know how you are. Quick update the bath and sleep helped my mind is a bit clearer today. I didnt gamble and Im thankful that u were here for me. Iv left myself short for money this month and with my hours at work reducing I started to panic about what Im going to do and instead of thinking rationally all I could think about was what a big win would mean.

Ok. well done for not gambling When you say you are short this month. Short for what? paying bills? food? going out? If you can get all your bills covered then we can look at things to help with the rest of the month

Thanks am feeling a bit better but the whole wobble has really thrown me... it would have been so easy to go and gamble but i would have been in a worse situation than i am now. I know gambling wont solve my problems.

Im struggling to find enough money to pay my bills this month but should scrape by with any luck. Its not for going out and i could probably manage with food as well so as long as im careful everything should be covered depending how much my wages are this week and next.

Im so glad this thread exists cause without it i know i would have gambled

How about this weekend you have a look around and gather some bits up that you think are junk or you dont use/need and put them on ebay? its free listing this weekend and even if you just make £20 it will help towards the bills xx You'll be surprised at the tat some people will buy. I have an old promotional orange tango man doll listed at the moment with 2 people bidding against each other?! Its a piece of vinyl!!!

Got through payday unscathed this month, the extra counselling is helping a lot. I am now on a level footing. Bloody gambling, whats it all about!!?
