Hi - just thought I'd let you all know that the sun is beaming here, the clouds have gone and the sky suddenly went that blue colour - you know, the kind we used to get in the summer! No, I haven't been hitting the bottle and I'm sure I'm not hallucinating! It could almost be August!

Hope you all have had this miracle, too. I don't know how long it will last, though!

    See you.

    Morning Everyone

((Hugs)) to everyone. I'm hating the rain aswell.

Anybody who has joined facebook could you please join the old style group theres a thread on there for peoples forum names.

Today I'm off to work, dd is currently getting dressed. Shes going to my SIL's today for afew hours then to grandmas after shes had a sleep as shes been on nights.

One side effect of the weather is that there is washing everywhere again can't say I'm impressed and may have to resort to the dryer again soon. Tea tonight will be pasta and tomato sauce as I really can't be bothered to do anything else.

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning all
quick post from me today as it looks like hubby & BIL aren't going to work due to the weather, bit of a shame as it means I'll have to look busy today.
    Have a good one.
    Hugs Hester

    Morning

Well, it is pouring here - again :o Just been out with the dog, and even he wanted to come home :rotfl:

Got SW weigh in at 9.30, but think I have put a couple of lbs on - I knew I overdid it at the buffet for DGD first birthday :D Then off to the library van, I hope they have the Danny Wallace book in that I ordered as it looks really funny.

Need to start sorting the conservatory as our new three piece comes a week on Thursday, and before then I need to clear the conservatory so that the old settee can go in there - wish me luck

Think I will cook something in the Remoska for dinner - again. It is making me really lazy as I just throw everything in and by the time DH comes home, I am sitting with my feet up just waiting for dinner to be ready. I love my Remoska :D

Hope everyone has a good day, try not to get washed away x

Not forgetting our one and only Queenie :D Anyone remember Curry Queen too.

I had lunch with Kazonline about 14 months ago. She was in love so no doubt busy. ;)
We missed you Ageandjo. Hope sis is good.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • Morning Guys!

Its only just stopped raining here. The damp causes havoc with my joints and muscles. I have put the heating on for 10 mins to take the high humidity out of the air.

OH & DD still in bed and I managed to make myself a cuppa, so am pleased:D

WM will be going on in a bit as will the DW. Hopefully weather will hold for the clothes to be hung outside. We are having gammon/pineapple, new pots and veg from the garden for lunch or dinner today.

My helper dropped back the ironing last night as she did it all when she went home....she's very efficient like that. I am thinking of asking her to do a Wednesday morning too, but will need to work figures out first.

Have a hospital visit this morning, but should be back by 10am.

Remoska-I really dont know what to do about buying one. I have some vouchers to put towards it. Im just not sure if it will be cost effective and take up too much space in my kitchen........please give me pointers:confused:

Anyway, I must finish my cuppa to warm up as Im freezing.

    Hugs to all.

    Hi All!

Haven't been on for a bit as I've been battling the house and the mess! Sorry to those whose events I have missed.

Dd and I created new bed time routines for her and Ds. Followed the last night after an afternoon of Dd asking if she could start her routine! Was very pleased as it is supposed to be a two man job, but I did it all on my own as Dh was at work...

DH worked on his first live show last night but my sky box wouldn't work so I couldn't watch it. When he got home he told me all about it though and has said he will let me watch the compliance recording.

    Hugs to everyone!

    Pippa

ps penny-pincher that is what we are having for tea too!
  • Morning all,

the sky is a blue colour here too.... :) For now.

JoannasMUm, that FB group sounds like it will be incredibly helpful as I have completely lost the plot with (mainly) who's who!!! Just have to figure out how to find the group....

Waiting around today for MFI to collect DW that broke as they want it for inspection. Also need to write snotty letter to their ExtraCare insurance bit as the saga of getting said DW changed/collected has been ridiculous. May see if I can summon motivation to do some tidying up!!!

Have a good day & (((((((((((((hugs))))))))) to all those needing them :)
