Morning, the Twit is pleased to announce that normal service has now resumed and all is well.

Mr Twit has set off to Nottingham to work, he should have gone yesterday, but that didn't happen. :rolleyes:

Poppy, I think our cars are related, Aston requires breakfast at 5am, doesn't matter if there is a bowlful, I still have to go and check. Slight oops this morning, I tipped the food into his water bowl. oops.

I cant believe this weather its pouring again:mad:
DD2 had 2 friends over last night and they couldnt play out because it started to rain 10 mins before they arrived and they wont be able to go out today either. they are going to be cooped up in the house DH will have to entertain them as I am off to work in a mo
has anyone noticed there are hardly any birds about ( except pidgeons and magpies) it seems really weird to me

We're going to Ilfracombe today, in the rain :rolleyes: Mr troo picked the wrong time for a week off, he should've taken next week, the weather forecast is much better then.

Yesterday he said 'well you want chickens, lets go and get some now'. I said we can't just go and get them - first we need to build a run, convert the shed etc. and how are we going to get them home? We'll need a big basket, you can't just strap them into the back seat of the car, ya know. We don't know exactly where they're going yet because I need a bigger greenhouse - polytunnel would be better - AND I don't want chicks, I want to rescue fully grown hens blah blah blah (I went on about it all for quite some time lol). He said 'ok, we wont get any then' :rolleyes: :rotfl:

I made him watch 2 episodes of Jimmy's Farming Heroes yesterday, he's more determined than ever to get a smallholding now, though a farm would be better

Hello everyone, well it is pouring here in MK, must of started during the night, looks like it is set for most of the day. OH went out this morning with the dog and they both came back beyond being drenched. OH was wearing waterproofs head to toe, but had to change, got wet right through. Dont know what we are having for dinner tonight, not very organised at the mo.
