I'm getting to grips with RE now and the sites I'm on generally - and how quick the jobs go!!

I thought there would be more as I live in Liverpool but maybe I'm just missing them or maybe there is less in my area?

I searched a Manchester postcode on RE and couldn't believe the amount of jobs - thought there would be more my way but maybe not!!

I'll stick to the three sites for now and build myself up and see how I get on!

My mother-in-law lives in Liverpool used to get jobs from GAP and GR. Hope this helps.

I've got a casino tomorrow too, but not with RE. I've never been before but I do know the basic rules of blackjack - or 21s as it was taught to me as a child - what kind of parents did I have?

I was thinking of doing the roulette thing where you choose a colour. (that is what you do isn't it?) I plan to go earlyish as well - wouldn't want to eat late really...notes say between about 8 and 3am is fine.
I'm not worried about being ignorant though as the notes don't say you need to be experienced. I will assess it through the eyes of a casinovirgin (nicer than calling yourself a numpty!)
Hope we both win a fortune!

For the Casino-goers, you might want to try roulette, its very easy. Just choose a number, put your chip on that number on the big board in the middle, then the croupier will spin the wheel and call "no more bets" then if the ball lands on your number, you win! You can get more technical by putting your chip(s) between numbers, on the line, so you are covering two (or more!) numbers, but if you are new to it, I would stick to just picking a couple of numbers! If you want to bet colours (red/black) you may want to check the table rules, as some tables have minimum bets on that (its called "the outside" so look for a sign saying "outside minimum" or something along those lines").

    I hope this helps!
  • Right - got my first assignment for RE - when I chose the date nothing came up about setting a time and I closed the box my mistake - now the time is not set. It's an open ended thing anyway time-wise so shouldn't make a difference not setting a time should it??

Also I have a spending limit and I have to buy all my items at once. Say I spend over that will they just reimburse me the maximum? Not saying I necessarily will but involves food

Say the limit is £15 this is the maximum they will pay even if you go over. If you spend £14.50 then they will pay you that. Hope this helps.
  • Thankyou! My first RE job so I have to wait to complete it until I can do anymore. Hope some more come up on GR now, I'll have a look into GAP later as well.

The next big hassle will be sorting my tax forms, I'll give it a few weeks yet ;)

I'm new at mystery shopping and have signed up to nearly all of the companies on the list on the first page..

I've done one assignment for RE (which was graded as good) but there's absolutely nothing else that I can do for any other companies, I keep checking multiple times a day and simply nothing comes up.

I don't live in a city but live in a large town.. is this usual? I'm feeling really disheartened!

    Noctu - I've sent you a PM.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Just spent ages doing a reprt for a sports shop, and then realised the fee is a pathetic £3.50! (Plus up to £10 worth of tat that i don't want). Why do i accept these rubbish assignments?
On the plus side, i got an easy fiver cos the electicity company didn't have a stand in the store they were supposed to, so i didn't have to do anything other than a one minute report ticking n/a all the way through! Lol

Can anyone pm me which hotel chain is on RE at the moment. It doesn't say in the alert thread?
