Anyhoo with RE, I have just submitted my first report for this assignment (at approx midday). Do you know how long it is before they approve your assignment report so I can choose another. As im a newbie my account is set to probabtionary so I can only do one assignment at a time and have to wait for approval. I want to do another.
I did my first for RE on Saturday afternoon (which I submitted at about 5pm on Saturday), and got a congratulations, your report was fine email at 9.30pm tonight. So took 3 days but was over a weekend. Surprise surprise I can see all the RE jobs again and there are loads of pharmacy jobs back again
Just had to write a bad report for a mystery shop for GAP, wrote plenty in the comments section as I had a phone call from them about a shop I did last week for a different customer (my first with GAP) and they'd queried one answer. The lovely lady said my explanation was fine and we had a little chat about the customer in question, but I'd rather not have people calling from the other side of the world at all hours (at least she wasn't begging me to do a job on a wet Sunday afternoonInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I actually like BARE. They assign visits to me when I apply and on the whole, I think the visits are very easy. I once did a posh designer clothes store and got over £30 worth of clobber as a reimbursement, you can't beat that! Plus Max is wicked. He sorts out all my problems for me and assigns me lots of jobs! I think he is one of the few members of staff for BARE from the UK. Most of the others are foreign and it's like talking to a brick wall with them.
Yep I agree and Max is extremely helpful though I think there's a Jane in the same office too who seems great as well.Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

It's your bank that charges the £9.00 to convert the Euros to £'s
Some do, some don't
However the last two months payments from BARE have actually been in £'s
They have paid me today.(at last...)
Yes, Blindman is right, Fitzal, when I heard my bank tell me this is what they charge I thought 'no thanks matey' and emailed bare to request paypal payments.
Glad you got paid BlindmanGala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

Hi ,
Does anyone kow of a site to check the establishments to the left/right of an outlet? I remember someone talking about it on here but icant find it.
Thanks
Karen
Karen there are 2 ways. Register on the post office site. Say the shop you did was 4 High street. Type in a postcode request for 2 High street and 6 High street. Hey presto and Bob's your uncle. The other way is to type addresses into Google.
Hope this helps you.:beer:Clique member no 1.:D0 -
Hi everyone,
I've been MS-ing for 18 months now, initially with TNS, GR and Gap, but more recently with RE (and I've just signed up for MCE and GFK). I seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut as regards decent assignments - lots of relatively low paying fast food, banks and computer retailers, but I haven't had a sniff of anything juicy since the £60-a-pop car shops with TNS last autumn. Although I've been around for a while, I've only just picked up on this thread, and it appears that there's a whole raft of assignments that I'm not even seeing - hotels, flights, restaurants that don't have golden arches....
So, the question is, how do I get to them? I've done every bit of voluntary training going and filled in all my assorted preferences and questionnaires - I realise that some companies work on your previous performance when offering out assignments, but I must have done around a hundred shops without problem.
Any clues?!
Cheers!

The "Bare" money for the flight has finally arrived at my bank!
I only wish I could spend it - got to transfer it straight across to pay towards the credit card!0 -
Oooooh! Now I am cross!!! Had an e-mail saying that Gap had a query, and I have not responded in time, so I am not being paid!!!
Only problem is that I have not had the query! And actually, looking at the e-mail resume, it isn't really a query, since it asks for information that I have actually given very clearly. GGGrrrrhhhhh!
I might not be so cross had I not responded 4 days ago (while even away from home!) stating that I hadn't received the original e-mail, and how unhappy I was about their response, had I not tonight had a reminder about an outstanding shop.
Do they really think I'm going to carry out shops having bering been told what 'a disappointment to their standards' I am?
Especially since I can get paid double by their competitors?:A Sealed Pot Challenge - number 263 :A0 -
That's worrying, BP. Have to admit so far I've had nothing but trouble with Gap. I've only done one assignment for them - but was messed around prior to that with changing dates and sites that weren't open etc.
This one assignment I did, they complained that I didn't get a quote - even though the assignment didn't ask for a quote, and in any case the 'quote' is given on the leaflet I picked up - would have looked really odd asking for a printed quote in addition to that. Anyway, I emailed a copy of the leaflet - then about a week later had another email saying they didn't know what assignment my email related to (they obviously don't bother to scroll down to see the original query). Now you've got me worried I'm going to have problems with this. The problem is they wait so bloomin' long before they tell you there's a query.
And you're right, their fees are rubbish for the amount of info they want. I don't think I've heard anything good about them on here.0
