I've not done a GR report yet so can't really comment (I have my first GR job on Thursday, so we'll see how that goes!) Generally they want you to write in proper sentences with correct grammar and punctuation. Generally they also want as much detail as possible. Some insist that you refer to the sales person as 'they' rather than 'he' or 'she', which I always find a little awkward - I think that's just GfK, though.
(this was to ianianian - sorry Peridot1, your post wasn't there when I started typing!)0 -
no worries Scaredy cat...Grass roots is my favorite, the fees are decent and the questionnaire is pretty straight forward. I would do these assignments all the time if I could.0

Good stuff! Many thanks for the reply! Its my first assignment for grassroots on monday!
One more quick question.... apologies as its bound to have been asked 1000s of times!
GR reports are really good. There are a lot of yes/no answers. If you do need to elaborate you can only type between 1 and 255 characters. It actually takes time trying NOT to write so much. HTH. Really miffed actually as a job came through and by the time I'd searched to see where it was someone else took it - have to be quick with GR jobs!!!
And BTW I don't even know what a MAC looks like so I'm off to google it lol0 -
I don't believe it - the damn pharmacy jobs have been pushed forward again  . Take the hint - we don't want hayfever tablets!!!!0

Isn't hayfever season over now, we need cold remedies now or even better headache tablets for the headaches RE give us !0

10/10 to OC for paying in the Fee & Flight costs exactly a week after doing the job!!:T :T
This time last week I was just on my way back to the airport in Paris, after a great day's shopping! Someone did drop a heavy suitcase on my foot though, so fractured my little toe! I don't know, the things you have to go through Mystery Shopping....! Luckily it's healing quickly.
I'm still awaiting payment from Bare though, & that flight was back on 18th July - I know it's on it's way, & should be in tomorrow, but even though that was just a Domestic Flight, it's still a couple of hundred pounds I'm due for the flight costs.
I've got another one next week to Berlin with another MS company, who at least pay fairly quickly going by previous jobs with them.
"Someone dropped a suitcase on my foot". Is this your new euphemism for kicking poor Dave. LOLClique member no 1.:D0 -
I've just got back from my first GR job - bank job in my local town centre...think it went ok. Although have now got a customer review meeting set with the bank...lovely.
Anyway, think I'll be ok at this....0 -

I know that feeling...it's like they wait for me to go to work and then put the jobs on. Missed a mobile phone one today...0 -
Welldone Clara, it's nice to get your first under your belt isn't it?
Peridot, I wouldn't worry about your GfK experience - they are a great company and you should be able to explain the situ without penalty.
ianianian - if you report on the stuff they wanted to knoe about - ie follow your scenario - then if you are used to writing reports you will fly through it all.
saintsfan1 I would say that if the assignment you are talking about is a financial one then you have picked an easy one with a decent fee.
Blindman - sorry I didn't respond before but I was away. When I said that Bare had paid I had had a notification of money coming into paypal (which I prefer with them since my bank charges £9:eek: to accept their fees otherwise)
A word in defence of Bare - they were late paying me the first time by a month but I've had no trouble and Max is great and helpful.Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0
MutualPoints 2898 STP £20.50 Tesco clubcard points £950 for summer 09!0
