Still no sign of the gruesome twosome.
I keep ringing the number that I think is her mum's landline, and I left a message at 7.30, but no reply or response.

In some ways I feel that the longer she is missing, the more likely it is that there will be some fabulous excuse as to why I've heard nothing. But I do wish she would hurry home.

Thanks for all your support, it does mean an awful lot.

Good morning! Grey and windy here again, sigh, has nobody told the weatherman that it's summer! Looks like it'll just be me and the kids for camping again this year, oh hates, and I mean really hates, camping in bad weather, he's not so keen when it's sunny! Kids are hardy creatures and I figure that if you're spending your days in a wetsuit in the sea and surfing a bit of rain doesn't really matter, fingers crossed that we have no storms though, meant to be going next week.

Anyway, still in bed at the mo, only dd3 awake, and oh working from home today for the first time this hols, bet he goes into the office before lunchtime! Need to hoover around, sort out WM, plenty of bread so BM doesn't need to go on, and then empty and refill DW.

Quite excited as collecting my half pig today, hope I can squeeze it in the freezer! Can't wait to see what I've got, did say I didn't want the offal as nobody here will eat it. Pigs have been reared by ds's friend, and he is making the the money from them, good on him, a young entrepreneur! Hope my lamb is ready soon from another of ds's mates, and the half a cow is usually ready at the beginning of September, to pay for my friend's hols in Florida each year! That'll be the freezer full again then and us stocked up again.

For lunch it'll be baked potatoes I think, going to try them in the remoska, got some really nice large potatoes in Asda, they were just the normal cheap value ones, but all really big, and they are quite fluffy when cooked. Think tea will be something with sausages, might be toad in the hole if I feel brave, hope it works better in the remoska that it does in the oven, cos it's the one thing I can never cook properly lol! Alternatively might just be sausage casserole done in SC!

Had a mad moment last night, was having a browse on the computer, and thought that since I'd taken the plunge and got my remoska, I might as well get the dehydrator I've been wanting for ages, well it should be good for all the soft fruit and apples around at the moment, she says trying to justify it to herself! Anyway I ordered it and will be off to raid my friends fruit trees as soon as it arrives!

Hope everyone has a good day, hugs to all in need at the mo, especially PenPin, I hope things are looking a lot brighter today hun, xx

My oldest DD used to do that, my MIL told me it meant he was !!!!!! (her delightful choice of words, not mine) he was very prem as I had placenta previa, MIL was adament that this had been caused by me being promiscous, my parents were divorced & the 2 go together according to her.
Anyway, I went to the Dr's & he said bo**ocks, loads of kids rock, they find it soothing.

    Morning all

WAT, I hope she turns up soon, no doubt she will stroll in with no idea of the worry she has caused

Lovely weekend, it was DGD first birthday yesterday, and we got a frantic phone call yesterday morning to say the gazebo had broken because of the wind  Anyway, DH went over and 'fixed' it. We were inundated with wasps, so don't know if there is a nest nearby

We bought her a rocking horse, and DS and DDIL2B had also got her one. It was OK though, their's was a little one, and ours will be OK for when she gets older.

Lots of lovely food (thanks to Iceland), so think the diet may have gone out of the window

Work today, so have an experiment in the Remoska for dinner. Oh well, the chip shop might be open :D

    Catch you all later x

Hi Redruby I was a "rocker" and I can report I have grown out of it :D

I just sleepwalk now - although I am not saying the two things are related!
