WAT- so glad they're safe.
Hope everyone had a good weekend,(((HUGS))) to those that didn't. Not caught up or posted since Fri.We went to my friends wedding on Saturday and had a lovely day,but I woke up with a bad throat and headache,so have been dosing on Lemsips. The wine seemed to dull the pain at the wedding. Also after all my experimenting with my hair, we had a power cut and I couldn't dry it:eek: I just put loads of velcro rollers in,it was nearly dry by the time we were ready to go.Good job it wasn't the brides house! The weather was really awful all day, chilly and wet, they did most of the photos in church. It was nice to catch up with my old work colleagues,as its nearly 2 years since I left.I do keep in touch but there never seems enough time if we meet up at lunchtime for a really good chat.
Had a (very) lazy day yesterday, apart from going to buy a Panny breadmaker:j ,so I shall be having a play in a bit,and going through that thread.
DS comes back from Berlin later, where he's been on a stag do- I expect he'll go up to his room to catch up on sleep as soon as he gets back.

oh Whatatwit - what a nightmare - hope she's ok - ascertain that she is first and then let rip. It's so scary - my middle dd used to go missing in the worst way - for days at a time. I have to say that the police were marvelous and took it very seriously even after her 20th disapearance. I'm sure there's a reasonable (to her anyway) explanation.
Feeling a little bit upset with my dsis today. dd(11) is supposed to be visiting her in Canada and has seen her twice. She and exbil live in paralel streets and had both supposedly taken two weeks off for the visit and were sharing dd and their own kids. dsis is blaming work commitments but exbil says she has a new bf. exbil has said that the bf is more than welcome to come along to the things that he had planned for the kids but that sis is being awkward about it. Exbil seems not to mind too much as he gets longer with his kids and my dd but I am annoyed. He planned this trip to the nanosecond but there a couple of times where he needed her help - for instance today they are planning a canoeing trip but dneice doesn't swim so he wanted dsis to do something with her or at least stand on the bank with her but she's too busy so the whole trip is threatened. dsis is a photographer so my ddad has been putting comments on dd's blog about how nice the photos are assuming that they are hers. I had to phone him last night to tell him what's going on. dd was so looking forwaard to spending some time with her Auntie - GGGGGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!! And relax!
I'm off this week and not going to Bath - I lent dd(19) some moeny against a budgeting loan that was supposed to be in her account last week and it hasn't come through yet. I could still go but can't risk the money not comng by the end of the month. I have plenty to do here though as I'm slooooooowly decorating
have a good day everyoneI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Ahem!Did you or did you not buy a wind up lantern at the weekend so that you could sit out there in the dark too?

Glad to hear she is on her way home WAT - I soon learned to have all my DS's mate mobiles in my phone, they dont always like it, but I could always get him if his phone died, or he was too drunk to answer.;)

Thank goodness your daughter is safe Whatatwit, I would be absolutely frantic. I hope all is well and that you can finally catch up on your sleep.
Little bear is a sleepy bear today. As he has had a sleepless weekend (as far as daytime naps are concerned) and has had some disturbed nights I am not too concerned that he wants to sleep now. I think a quiet day for bears is in order.
I've failed my grocery challenge. I need to think very carefully about my spending. Having said that, I am about to start spending more money by buying a magazine subscription for my brother for a birthday present and some plants for the garden. I shall, of course, go through quidco if I can.
I ought to go and clear some weeds from the garden but a huge mattress in the middle of a garden does put me off. A skip should be arriving this week so perhaps I can feel more motivated then.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
