:hello: :hello: :hello:    Hi everyone
MWAT-- Hope your day improves --- kids!!!

    Pen Pen-- Happy Anniversary

Kathy-- I would love to see your pictures.

Donny-- Hope all is well.Really impressed you are doing home improvements-- We seem to find less time not more to do things.

Mr Chalky has gone off to do the first shift in the Tea Rooms- its a bit quiet so I might not be needed. --- More Knitting!!! Actually enjoying spending time with ds and his fiancee.

I am actually beginning to feel homesick and missing dd1 and dd2. They of course are fine. But I think the last leg of the sunshine bus travels up to Scotland is going to seem long. Cant cancel cos it is to see sil and she would be really offended if we did not go.

Hope to have another no spend day. Lots of bits and pieces to eat up.

Congratulatrions to all those celebrating and gentle wishes to everyone who is feeling low
Try and do a good deed every day.
  • Morning all

WHATATWIT my two Step-Sons went through a phase of doing the same thing, it really worried me and i used to go out in the car looking for them. It took my Mum to have a quiet word with them in the end. So glad she's turned up.

PENPEN have a lovely anniversary  .

KAATLADY Hugs to you, sorry about your cat.

Have skimmed the thread, hugs to anyone who needs one.

Got very drunk yesterday at a barbecue, great party for my friends 40th and her OH was fantastic at organising it all. OH and DS have headed out for folkweek. I'm off to work today.

    Have a good day all.

Sorry about that, folks. I think I've made the photos 'public' now - I don't really understand what I'm doing, as you can tell! I'll go and find the photos and post the link again - hopefully!

Great - success at last! Thanks, Hester - yes, I loved the hot pink, too; it worked really well. The colour scheme was down to the bridesmaid's dresses because they were bought before anything else. They were from Karen Millen, reduced from £135 down to £35 each! The bride also wore hot pink shoes but these can't be seen because she's only 5'1" tall and her dress was too long! My DGD, the little bridesmaid, is in white, though, because they couldn't find anything to match the others exactly.

    Hi everyone!

Kaat, hugs for you and for Archie. I know how difficult this time is, let us know when you find the poor little mite :grouphug:

Happy anniversary to the penguins! :grouphug:

Good luck on the interview Dazi :grouphug:

WAT, I am so glad you found them safe and sound, remind them that we all did this to our parents (um, didn't we? surely it wasn't just me ) and it isn't until you are older and wiser that you realise what a big deal it is. Show them this thread so they know just how much they worried you. Don't forget to give them a big hug after you've finished murdering them! :grouphug:

Hugs to all who need and want one :grouphug:

The Patient is okay, not really feeling better but he is eating a little more and he is no worse either. I think he has started to relax a little more now, he is on the sofa most of the day instead of in bed. I am getting so fed up with sky sports news now  but it makes him happy.

Spoke to my Dad yesterday, told him about my dramatic few days. I told him about the radio show, he told me he is proud of me without a 'but' at the end... I can't think of another time that has happened :D He was also telling me about his love life, it is soooo complicated and tangled, it made me laugh because he sounds like all of my single friends and I ended up giving him the same advice as I give them. It's strange, isn't it, when the roles reverse?! Then I called my Mum and sister. I had to inform them that I am in fact turning into my Mum, and that I had acquired a hideous amount of tupperware (just like her) and that it was breeding (just like hers does)! Then my sister spoilt it all by pointing out that actually most of my tupperware was my Mum's at one point until I had 'acquired' it :rotfl:. Had to postpone booking the holiday with Mum until we know that Dave is definitely going to be okay to go (and until we've got some money coming in again). I felt awful telling her as she is looking forwards to it so much, she hasn't had a proper holiday in years and when we invited her along she didn't even ask when or where we were going before she said yes please! But i think she understands.

I presented my grand energy saving strategy to The Patient last night. He told me it was overkill until I pointed out that the 35% rise we've just seen is ON TOP of the rise already this year. Of course, we are on a capped tariff, but forgot to tell him that. ;) The dearer it is the easier it is to persuade him to use less.

    Love to all xxxx
