Been to my mate's in Kent for the afternoon, to escape oldest DD who is being very horrible (I know she is grieving for her friend, but she is being very nice & considerate to everyone else in the world, & treating me like something on the bottom of her shoe....). So not long been home.

Got 2 days off now and I'm certainly ready for them!:j
DH is celebrating - his birds came 1st and 3rd in Sundays Pigeon race!:T :j he is not too well ATM, got a stinking cold(dont know who gave him that:think: :whistle: )and he was stung on the neck by a wasp today.

I've applied for the course to become an Extend teacher, cant hang around waiting for the NHS to get their act together any longer!:rolleyes:

Here at last, today has been one of those :eek: days, we have been in and out all day long, had to start early, as Severn Trent were coming between 1pm and 8pm (can you believe) to fit the water meter.
So up early stripped bed and got that lot in WM, put DW on then went to Mr M`s to do shopping for mum, MIL and some for us, we were there for 9:30 so it was`nt too crowded, back home unpacked and put frozen stuff for MIL in freezer, quick cuppa, out again to Bank ,B.Soc, Wilkinsons and Poundland, back home again, by this time it was 12:45.
Sorted everything out had lunch, emptied WM and DW, Hung washing out Severn Trent came at 2:15 and were finished at 4:20. :T
Soooo OH said do you want to go out :eek: I gave in gracefully and said if you like:rolleyes: So off we went to the trade place to look at TV`s, and bought a new one for the kitchen, he is currently setting it up (all I will say is the air is blue);)
He only bought it because the old one is kn*****d

I am off to read back now see you all in a bit

hope everyone will be patient as i need to get pixie over to show me what to do on facebook

not busy at playscheme today as a few LO's were off but noisy all the same, still have more blackcurrants to pick and may keep them till the crabapples are ready then i do a jelly with them adding elderberries, rowans, rosehips and brambles, just a bung it all in sort of thing and hope for the best

Life going on as normal here - no change there. Had a great day out with princess pixiedust and my 3 nephews yesterday - got soaked but it was worth it

Just finished dinner - all stuff that was sitting in the freezer so very moneysaving there WM just about to go on, then I think a cuppa might be in order.

Kathy the pics are lovely,and the colour is beautiful, there is just something about hot pink....its got a zing to it.....if you see what I mean:D and what a bargain the dresses were. I am looking forward to seeing some more, one of you and OH would be nice:T
