Hi Panda - amazing to hear the start you had to 2009, *very* impressive. Looking forward to seeing those summarised New Year resolutions.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I'm not sure whether I struggle more with the "start" or the "go on" bit :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Bloomin kids are stopping me from getting on and doing things, but since one of the resolutions was to try and stop fobbing the kids off to get things done then I can't moan about it. Well, maybe just a little.
Got a four foot hole directly outside my back door right now where some new drains are being fitted. Is it really bad that my first thought when I saw it was that it was just the right size to plant both kids in, like a giant outdoor playpen? (I didn't do it though, before anyone calls social services.)0 -
sounds like a very MSE way to entertain the kids:rotfl: :rotfl:
happy new year to the Pandas:D .
Looking forward to your inspirational list later:D£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
Happy New Year MM!!!
Kids still driving me round the twist. Sadly the hole has now been filled (they don't mess around!) so I'll have to think of another plan on that front.
Not getting much done due to kids, desperate to get on with loads of things before I have to go to work. How frustrating - the motivation is there, I just can't get on with any of it.0 -
think you need to train the junior pandas up on playing the free bingo for you  GLGL with that:rotfl:£2 savers club 2025 #40

Ah, I remember the days of free bingo well...if only I had the time these days to do anything like that. Must find my internet dongle thingy so I can get proper internet at work instead of this restricted business.
While Greg was in bed I managed to put together our 'get our life together' action plan. Must try and make it something that we actually do rather than just some junk I've printed out to lie around on the table. I've divided it up into daily tasks, weekly tasks and monthly tasks. Each day/week/month also includes ten spaces to include ten things to do that day/week/month, and these have to be carried forward into the next ten if they're not done. Daily ones will be fairly small, weekly ones bigger and monthly ones, er, huge!
Started today, but didn't manage to tick many boxes.:o0 -
So by the end of the year you will have the biggest list of things you meant to do but haven't........or is that just me
Is it like Euromillions lottery, in that if it rolls over a certain number of times, it can't roll over any more and you have to start again? That would be more like my sort of systemSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. There are only ten spaces on each page, so the first day I make 10, second day if I've only done 4, I carry forward and make another 6 and so on. I did think about doing it the other way, but decided that by the end of the year I'd have the biggest list of things I meant to do but hadn't:D . But this way I can't have more than 10 (well, 30 actually if I count the daily, weekly and monthly jobs). There isn't enough paper in the world to list everything I want to do!
I'm at work now, armed with a small list of tasks (none of which involve aeroplanes), so I should really get on and do them. Soon...0 -
Ah, the way I read it was if you only did 4, the next day you had 16 on your list, and then if you only did 3 of those, the next day would have 23.......etc  I would have given up after day three if that was the case!
Actually, I would probably have given up on the morning of day two!
Glad that your system is more sensible!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
