Quite understand the freecycle issues. After sorting the attic I posted a Various list of stuff to go and was also innundated in no time. I split the stuff up (I know you can't do that with a wardrobe) and give to the more polite people, ignoring the ones that said "Yes, I'll take everything" and no please or thank you.
Hopefully, they will all be coming to take my rubbish away this weekend - I love freecycle!!0 -
What a list panda!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:On a mission0

I can't believe how many newbies there are on the DFW and the MFW boards! PP, I found this thread on page 7!!
Karmacat, I used to be very, very organised and then it went all wrong - 3 children and an underactive thyroid and my life couldn't be more different. I still give out the impression that I'm organised (see you've been caught) but no, all an illusion...I mean how many people have forgotten to pick up their child from school? Mortified I was, blamed it on my M-i-L.
And that's why I am always impressed with PP and what she gets up to; working full time, 2 kids, eBay business and then the rest. Which is why I hang around here; I love the 'have done' attitude rather than the 'will do'.
Where is PP?

Absolutely in the Panda appreciation society - and Floxxie, sorry to hear of the health issues you've had. Its all a bit of a struggle sometimes, isn't it. It'd be nice to hear from Panda again - I'm sure its the whole f/t job-2 children-ebay business-house renovation thing!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I work in a school and quite a lot of people actually. Most do blame it on grandparents - I wonder how many are telling the truth??0 -
Ah, I remember the days of free bingo well...if only I had the time these days to do anything like that. Must find my internet dongle thingy so I can get proper internet at work instead of this restricted business.
While Greg was in bed I managed to put together our 'get our life together' action plan. Must try and make it something that we actually do rather than just some junk I've printed out to lie around on the table. I've divided it up into daily tasks, weekly tasks and monthly tasks. Each day/week/month also includes ten spaces to include ten things to do that day/week/month, and these have to be carried forward into the next ten if they're not done. Daily ones will be fairly small, weekly ones bigger and monthly ones, er, huge!
Started today, but didn't manage to tick many boxes.:o
I do like the idea of this one, although mine will be along the lines of get a life..lol.
I think i will have a go at this.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Get a life ... exactly ... just what William Shatner told us to do, way back when! Hope you're okay, Bob.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I'm thinking perhaps PP is busy making money somewhere to reduce that debt! Have been reading some great threads about making money; some of them are far too hard for me - £10 a day
Have worked out that I need to 'earn' a little under £15.5k this year to hit my targets. Now I did this last year so I know it is possible but I need to have a selection of things to do so I don't get bored or despondent. So would someone on this thread kindly refer me to Dooyoo and Bingoport please?
And I'm feeling much better after finding out from Chocoholic that it is perfectly normal for parents to blame grandparents for leaving their kids at school. Won't feel so bad the next time it happens!
Oops had better get off this thread before I take over and write a book.
