:hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: Hi everyone
Back on line after what seems like weeks. All well. Loved York Moors,Dales and Peak District. Think Dales were our favourite.
Thanks to this site saved so much money. Walked miles and miles and miles. Know now what they truly mean about "up hill and down dale" DOH carried pack lunches and we cooked 1 pot meals in the evening.
Been bust knitting for the Wooligans as we travelled but so sorry to hear about Lou on Loving Hands. I was due to pop in and meet her as we went by.
So nice to come online and hear Jackie O's news--- So very glad things are better.
Kathy -- Hope wedding was briliant.
Must have missed so many celebrations and good news so --:j :j :j and gentle thoughts to all those who have had bad,sad or worrying news or just feeling lonely.Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
Morning all,
Bright and breezy here, got OH work clothes in the wm, will hang them out in a bit, I also have a ham in the sc for tea tonight, I have my two youngest twin nephews coming for a sleepover tonight, so will do ham, cheese nice bread tomatoes etc, they will eat anything, I think its because there diet is so poor at home, they live on chicken nuggets. Their mum has gone off to wales for a girlie weekend and left my brother with three children and no food in the house, now I know that he is perfectly capeable of going shopping, but she has taken the car, so he can only walk up to the corner shop for food which is twice the price, she makes me  , anyhoo brother is off to a family party in london with my mum, and I am on babysitting duties, think I will take them out for a long walk to wear them out
.
Other than that I will be pottering in the garden, and doing nice things
Kathy hope yesterday was everything you hoped for xx
Hugs to all in need.
Thanks for the pm's about facebook I will have a good look at it later, dd knows more than me

The cat, bless him, sat next to Dave's hed on the pillow all of last night, watching over him and purring. I didn't have the heart to move him.
Well, my bit should be on the radio this evening. Fingers crossed I don't sound too stupid, I'm hoping they don't even use my bit. But, as I've said, the joy of anonymous internet forums is that if I sound like too much of a muppet I can just deny it was me :rotfl:

Hello Silver! Ds's book is about football:rolleyes: but we are so very proud that he is finally in print and very excited about it all:j
Isn't it funny how our pets seem to know when we are poorly and try to comfort us, so glad Dave is improving.
Good luck with the radio piece I am sure you will be fine and get your message across. We spent yesterday on BBC radio online following our ds's progress as he was interviewed on various regional stations. Nothing got done all morning! :rotfl:
Can't believe how many medals have been won so far in just 1 day of the olympics!
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Morning all !
Weather started off sunny but now not looking so good. We've a boot fair at the local school tomorrow and they've been so unlucky with weather this year. I do hope it stays fine for that at least.
Been waiting for the builder to arrive and at least inspect the hole in one of the bedroom ceilings but so far, he's not been. Hate waiting about. Can't seem to get on doing anything ..........well, I'll give him till 1pm then I'll give up on him for today.
Have a good day and hugs (((((((((:o )))))))) to those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Morning everyone.
No rain here at the moment but the sky does lookmvery dark. Picked our first runner beans yesterday yum. Tomatoes are slowly turning red but our courgetes are not getting very big don't know why. it is very strange but if you told me a few years ago how excited I would get at groeing our own veg I wouldn't have believed you.
DS2 had to go to AE last night as he went out for a bike ride on Wednesday and got bitten several times by insects and yesterday his legs started to swell and get very painful apparently the bites are infected and he is now on antibiotics. So fingers crossed that that works.
Hope the wedding went well Mioliere.
Hugs to everyone. x0
