Good Morning All! So far, sunny here, so yesterday's washing transferred from conservatory to washing line. More ironing done - am determined to keep that basket empty as long as possible. Have sorted the shopping list and will set off for Mr T's as soon as I've had a cup of tea.
Off to London later - staying overnight as it's DGD's baptism tomorrow morning. Daughter - outlaw's family arriving this morning from Germany, my brother and his kids, plus younger sister, BIL and their four arriving later today, so we should be having a really good family gathering!
Right, need to get a move on! ((HUGS)) to all who need one today.
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!

Morning Chums ,I have been off-line for a few days as my computer was playing up, Outlook Express will not work at all now but I can get my email via my server, and now will be offline again for a week as I am off to Norfolk with my youngest DD and tribe .It's been really lovely this week with my grandchildren as they are all so excited about the holiday We never told them until last Sunday, and the little ones have been bouncing all week .So buckets and spades are packed, and we are all off to Sherringham for a nice old-fashioned seaside holiday .So if you see a rather cheery granny sitting on the beach surrounded by five very grubby kids next week give us a wave . The children love to go 'crabbing' and get very messy at times but enjoy every minute. My eldest DD is still in Florida with her family and won't be back until just before we get home next Saturday.
I hope the weather stays o.k. for us ,but if it doesn't then it really isn't that important, we have a plan B for rainy days to include Bowling and swimming at the local pool or at a push the cinema.
Today it is a year since my operation, and we are going to have a little celebration tonight and I shall have a glass or two of my G&T ,hopefully in the garden of the cottage where we are staying.I saw my surgeon on Wednesday and she said she is very pleased at how everything has gone, and told me to go off and enjoy my holiday so that's what I will do.
Onwards and upwards ,my hair is still growing in nicely and I can now do without my scarves thank goodness.Well chums its time for me to go and load the car up .I hope everyone has a nice week and <<hugs>> to those in need and a big ;) to the rest of you
    See you next week

Have a super holiday with your family JackieO! Sheringham is a lovely place for a family seaside holiday! So pleased to hear you are doing so well, you deserve that celebration.

Bemuzzled - wishing you a lovely day for dgd's baptism!

    Morning all

JackieO, enjoy your holiday, you certainly deserve it :j

Nothing much planned here today, DGDs first birthday tomorrow, so want to pop into Matalan as they now have a party shop, to see what I can get. I bought here a little Happy Birthday crown with pink fur and 'jewels' but don't suppose she will wear it :D

Just having a lovely bacon and cheese sandwich and a cup of tea, and then will start sorting the things we bought at the auction last night. Bought a lovely Moorcroft plaque, so that might end up on my wall

Have a great Saturday everyone x

hello everyone. hope everyone is feeling good today.

at last its the weekend but I have so much to do i don't know where to start. ;)
there's the routine chores which are behind, I have hall cupboards which don't shut because they are so untidy and full of stuff which should be elsewhere, the garden is full of weeds, the car needs cleaned and hoovered, shopping for mum, school clothes shopping, and have only found out what DS needs for university halls...more expense :( , trousers needing taken back to M&S......I could go on, so I think I need to prioritise :) and save things to do later in week when I go back to my part time hours.

food wise, saturday is always treat night....might have a curry :)

    Morning all

Exbil has sent me an interesting photo from dd(11). She was sent with 7 outfits for a 15 day stay so it's a case of result - misery today. The photo is of her doing her own laundry    I have been informed on many an occasion that she was not put on this earth to be a Laundry Slave (luckily I seemingly was). I have told exbil that I will be framing this photo and hanging it above the machine. Well that's the Laundry Fairies debunked - Washing up Piskies next methinks.

Dd(23) - aka the Boomerang Kid - called at 7.13 am  to tell me that she is moving back home for good tomorrow. I hope she means it this time - her flat share sounds bl**dy dangerous at times. I will make sure she hands the keys back this time. Good job I didn't rush to tell the council all about my single person occupancy status this time.

Oh N9aev - we feel your pain - looks like it's going to be another swelteringly horrible day here
JackieO - have fun on your hols - my exmil's hair was nicer than ever when it grew back
MrBE - fancy suggesting a day of sport and no housework - what a ..... well...... Bad Example to us all you are. Although saying that - oh happy long awaited day - it's the start of the football season for me with the mighty Bees travelling to Bury to kick off what will hopefully be a glorious promotion-seeking season - I'll be listening to the radio WHILE I do my housework so there :D
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Morning all! Rainy here, but we have had sunshine for the past two days, so can't complain. I have been off work this week and have another week off to come :T

OS wise I have been baking - Rainbow cakes, chocolate brownies and I intend to make plum jam with some RTC fruit I picked up. We've been to the beach and the Zoo for picnics too :D I think I must live near Whatatwit, judging by all the punk hairdo's I saw on the way to the beach yesterday.

Anyway I hope all's well with everyone hugs for those who need them and give me a nudge when we get any wedding updates!
