DD's have had a look through their dressing up clothes and came downstairs with a fairy costume, a mermaid costume, a sailor girl costume and a witch costume for me to put on too.

What, you are putting them all on at once? Do you have a webcam :rotfl:

not just my kids then!!!! :D i love jammie days when the weather is awful.
playdough has solved the not going out to the park problem :T she didnt want to get dressed so i suggested jammie day and playdough.....she was thrilled :-)

dd2(6 months) has decided today is the day to start crawling and that she loves the cable box and dvd player
  • Erk - didn't get up till gone half 10, mind you the fireworks didn't stop till 2am. Just had an email from my friend telling me to stop the rain as her dog went on the sofa when the bangs got too loud and she can't hang the throws outside to dry.

Was planning to go shopping, but i think that can wait till on the way home on Monday. OH has curled up on the sofa watching some program about Africa because "it looks nice and warrm there"
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!

    Happy Birthday, greenlogo :D

Enjoy your pressies - but don't people think you're funny wanting 'kitchen things' ?

I got round that problem as I've told Mr TM NEVER (again) to buy me kitchen things, (we're talking nearly at the divorce courts the last time he did ) unless I specifically request them. However, I now buy what I want and let him buy me a small token gift :D So, I bought myself the new BM and called it my own b'day pressie :D

i'm having a real os day today. the weather is horrid , but i love it. can snuggle drink lots of tea and eat bickies and play games with kids.

anyway i have made a big batch of the everyday biscuits i found on here and they gorgeous. just made lunch which was cheese and onion toasted sandwiches in my george foreman , and they were gorgeous , ( again found out about this on mse ) and finially found a recipe on mse last night for baked bean lasagne so gonna make that in a bit.

although my cupboards and freezer are brimming , i am gonna try and make as much as i can now to save on money later in the month.

just done 1 load of washing got about another 3 to do. but trying not to use TD much so i had put loads of ariers up in the bathroom , in an attemp i can mainly dry it in there then just finish it off in th TD.

Both kids asleep so will have a quick tidy up , and a well deserved cup of tea with some everyday biscuits to dunk in it.

had a fantabulous night last night, we had a few friends round for fireworks, i kicked out a bunny boiler from my house after she tried to break my living room door. psycho!

Made nibbles and bought plenty of lager from supermarket so we wouldnt be tempted to slope off to the offie and pay mucho ££££ for cheap lager. The fireworks were brilliant and it was very nice setting them off at our property instead of being at a big display. Although we did get a free view of the big huge display at a pub 2 mins away from our house but they were charging to see it. Sneaky us eh?!

After OH and i have bother recovered were off to my parents for free sunday lunches and general paretal sympathy and tea! Im not really hungover but dancing for that many hours fuelled on aftershock and alcopops didnt help. everywhere aches.

We only have 1 night out a month now, and we hadnt been out for about 6 weeks so we deserved it right?! right?! yeah ofcourse we did :D

Will report back later when the music in my head subsides.

    Katie

    Ps.Happy Birthday Greenlogo hun.

I'm feeling totally overwhelmed this morning so I have retreated to the PC. The house is a complete pigsty and is full of boxes. I am falling over stuff whereever I go and now I have to get myself ready to go out this evening as a babysitter has emerged so I can now go and watch DH in his concert tonight instead of staying at home.

At least his dinner suit and the kids school uniforms have been ironed and pressed and I have dragged something out for me that doesn't need washing. I still have to wash my hair and get DD bathed tonight though and we have to leave at 6.30 :(

......I have just spent 1 1/2 hours trying to get the flippin' PC to connect to the internet  ONE AND A HALF HOURS!! God, I hate AOL at times ....TM

    Hello Ticklemouse,

I have found that when AOL has connectivity problems, the procedure below fixes it in most cases. If after trying it, staying connected is still an issue, then restart your computer then follow the procedure steps.

    1. Close the AOL program
    2. Click Start
    3. Click Programs
    4. Click AOL
    5. Click System Information

A small grey window is displayed….

    6. Click Utilities
    7. Click Rebuild AOL Adapter

When the process has finished ( just takes a few seconds) …

    8. Click OK
    9. Click Close
    10. Restart AOL and connect to the Net etc

    Hope this helps…. :D

Well, all housework DONE:j !!!!!!! Washing is in the TD, evening meal is still cooking in the SC (I keep looking at it - hoping it'll turn out ok. Have been tempted to take lid off - but have resisted so far!!)

OH is just cleaning kitchen floor then, as the rain has stopped (?for how long?) thought we'd take the kids to a local lake/play area, for them to burn off a little energy!!!!

Got the ironing to do tonight, but my friend has lent me 1st series of 'Little Britain' (which I've never actually seen) so may well iron whilst watching that!

Will hopefully get REALLY organised tonight & make some veg soup in slow cooker, my OH loves taking soup for lunch & I have some veg I need to use up! I've never made it before, but now just have a go at things, rather than assuming it won't turn out right!:)
