Hello all. Only just managed to read throught the posts today.
MW is going like the clappers again. TD is also going mental.. I could do with on Laundrette size and shove everything in at the same time!
Dinner is Spag Bol. Was going for that for last nights dinner, but the dog ate the defrosted mince!!!
So. Get the next lot of mince defrosted and SC on - and discover that I have no Bol sauce! I never make my own cos I don't know how! So I chucked in the tin of chopped tomatoes and a tin of condensed mushroom soup and some herbs. We'll see what it comes out like!
It **Looks** okay at the moment - but the taste is in the pudding and all that!
Just finished my Tesco shop for delivery later so thats next weeks shopping dealt with.
See you all later !0 -

Thank you(You are such a sweetie! ((hugs)) )
Can't be here often - real life is setting it's own challenges which mean that MSE forums have to be on the back boiler for the time being. But, I will bob in from time to time and stick my tuppenny worth in, just once in a while
Oooooh, must just tell ... I've splurged on a new hair-doThe boys say they think I look a million dollars!!!! Ok, it's the thought that counts
:rotfl: My hairdresser gave me a special deal, even though I went prepared to splash out madly (or was that, madly prepared to splash out?
) and I just left everything to his capable hands
Let's just hope that tomorrow I'll be able to do something half as good with it

Just a little tip, re. the hair. I have very long, very thick hair which I have cut once every 4 months - sometimes longer - depends how bad the split ends are. I get my hairdresser to cut it (£40 a pop - so not very money saving - but love the way she does it). BUT, I get it coloured (highlights) at the same trendy salon every 6 weeks by the trainees. £8.50!!!! They do a fantastic job - although it does take 4 hours - but hey, sitting in a chair drinking coffee and reading OK and Hello for 4 hours (with no kids) is my idea of heaven!
All salons (the posher the better) have training nights - so its always worth ringing to check. If I had my usual hairdresser colour my hair it would cost over £100 - for chest length hair - so for me its well worth it.

Was in foul mood yesterday - imagining how nice it would be to storm out the office and not come back  Ended up taking it all out on hubby - poor man
In much better mood this morning. If I can just stick the job out until July (debts paid and buffer zone in bank) he said I can quit and temp if necessary - so I've just got to be positive for the next 7 months.
Got huge scratch on my neck after hubby 'dropped' the cat onto me in retaliation  And what do cats to do brace themselves? Claws that's what!
I need to work on a job application form tonight for a job I really really want. But it'll be a career change so my CV doesn't cover it. If anybody knows of any websites I can get tips for application form filling-in, please let me know. Not filled one in before as I've relied on CV.
Hope you all have a lovely day.
Janine

Sounds exactly like my life!! Filthy mood, cat claws.... Hope you are feeling better!
My day was suprising good since it was really busy at work, most of the people coming in were pleasant and there was a suprise visitor (Cute techie guy) and he is working with us all day Monday too. It would be a great day, but the not as nice boss is back in work then and she scares me.
Next have apologised for the no-show bin and logged my complaint about the delivery service, as this is the second item out of 3 orders that have not turned up in a timely fashion (in fact - the other item was brought by another carrier and they were fine, one late one was 22 days late, and the third - who knows??). They have re-ordered it for me and I expect it tomorrow, but I guess that will be late too and then two will turn up on xmas eve or something.
This evening is HM burgers for dinner and I think ill do some more cleaning and organising - im hoping to do enough through the week so I can sit on my !!!!!! sunday and do nothing except eat and watch movies on Sunday. Im trying to plan nothing as I need a proper break!
Anyway, Must dash, the boyf is whingeing about having an empty stomach and ive just found a half dead errant flea on the cat so I must set about the cleaning pronto then spray the place to kill the last remaining blighters.
Have a great evening all!

HI All,
I have had a good day today. I mangaged to get Martin's new book for £1 (used my Daily Star/ Play.com £5 voucher) and my friend at work gave me 3 massive bags of books to keep. I know what i'll be doing for the rest of the Winter:D. Have managed to get DS to bed and I'm relaxing with a cuppa. Hope everyone else has had a good day.A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0 -

Evening everyone
I feel frazzled. The class were alot better today, but only because we had the soundtrack to "Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" on in the background of our RE lesson. It was relevant. Honest! We were doing music that has come from the Bible (eg story of Joseph, Christmas carols etc). Sadly most of them (year 5 and 6) had never heard of Jason Donovan  . I was appalled at their lack of culture :rotfl:. Or is that me  ?
Got plenty of marking to do, which I should be doing now..... I've done some of it. Honestly, why teach upper juniors when there's just so much damn work to mark?
OH is on his way home and he's going to do us a chicken caesar salad. He got us some romaine hearts from his staff shop (they grow them, though this time of year they come from their farms in Spain), which have been really tasty recently.
I bought a new coat tonight. I don't actually have a smart one that is warm - one for spring, a few for being warm but definitely not smart OR trendy. Anyway, it's lovely and I have had my eye on it for a while. It being OH's dad's 60th birthday meal this weekend, I thought I needed to have something more than a fleece to wear to this posh restaurant we're going to!Hopefully it should last for many years, then it can be relegated to "keeping warm on playground duty" once it's a bit ragged!
Have a good evening everyone
