I have looked at this review that has started all this agro and I must admit whilst all ratings are subjective, I would be peeved to receive a useful rating for a review containing 1149 words. Yes, it includes details of packaging, but plenty of personal experience and comments about what the product is actually like. It gives a clear idea of what to expect.

It received over 70 VU ratings and only 1 VU which was yours. The packaging can be quite an important aspect, after all it is part of the product. If someone has put this level of effort into a review (and isn't just a churner) and takes pride in writing an informative review, then this type of rating can be quite disappointing. It would make me think, what else do I have to do? If being thorough isn't enough then what is?

Can't comment on the revenge side of this because I don't have time or the inclination to look back and forth between reviews, however, I do think that people should respect the time and effort that goes into reviews, especially on a site with so many churners turning in 150 words of drivel.

Knowing you felt so strongly about the persons profile to begin with, makes me question whether you are whiter than white in the first place, in making your decision and can't say hand on heart that this didn't influence you when rating 'U'.

I have had some crowned reviews of longer than 1000 rated as Useful in the past.

Yes, I was slightly peeved but everyone is entitled to their opinion and I certainly didn't feel the need to go right back to their first reviews to have the opportunity to rate them lower.

It has been discussed on here many times that the length of a review doesn't necessarily make it "very useful". Dooyoo themselves point out that a Useful rating is a positive, good one. Everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it does go against the grain.

Hi guys, thought I would dip my toe in to this forum and say hi! My user name is the same on Dooyoo and I guess part of me just want to clear my name and say that I am not the Charlie that is involved in Foxy and Fiver's debate!

No because I read that after I saw her come onto my profile and then rate an SU. I was curious to her stance on revenge raters.

I have rated 2000+ word reviews as U, the length of the review has nothing to do with the usefulness.

Most people reading this forum will be familiar with how how Dooyoo works, reading your post and then flicking over to the Dooyoo site, you wouldn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out who you were referring to. Just because you didn't name the person doesn't mean it isn't obvious who you are talking about. The fact the person in question got lots of e-mails proves this point.

I don't see how, you would have to go through hundreds of profiles to find a couple of lines in one profile.

Your just humilating yourself with your snidness really now. You rated a couple of my reviews as useful and I rated a couple of your older reviews (within the past couple of months) as somewhat useful and you have an issue with it, thats fine but trying to back yaself up with a snippett from my profile to make me out to be a cow aint on and as I kept saying you could have approached me without sticking the knife in and in a more mature way.

You did make it obvious it was me you were reffering to in this post and I haven't changed my profile. If that aint slating me I dont know what it is. You picked the fight with me but didnt expect me to find out about it. As I said earlier I'm not whinging I'm stating and sticking to the facts and clearing my name but at the end of the day people know my name and have seen me on Dooyoo for long enough to know that this attack on my credibility won't stick and your full of it any way lol.
