It's because you've written 100 "reviews" in a week and given nothing/little back to the site. You've launched yourself into the middle of what is supposedly a community and it appears you are being selfish. The community doesn't like selfish people, unsurprisingly. (Does anyone?) Got a lot of time on your hands? Why not read around the site and give something back?[/QUOTE]
I've read almost as many reviews as I have written and emailed quite a few people on dooyoo. So I feel I am giving something back. I will continue writing reviews for as long as I continue to enjoy it but I won't be coming back onto mse again. Really don't understand why people are so rude?
Thanks!0 -

Well, the reason theya re hassling you over writing so many reviews (if they are doing that), is because of the way the site is set up. Everytime someone writes a review, it goes to the top of the new review page. So if you write 20 reviews that day, people who form the comminity there will go and see only your reviews and have to trawl through several pages to find those of others. I understand you are home all day, so it is tempting to write loads and lods of reviews, but instead of posting them on one site, it would probably be more productive to psot them on the different sites. Say, like write three for Dooyoo, three different ones for Ciao, some for Review Centre, and some for Epinions, and read and rate on those as well so the site is not "flooded", raising the ire of those who are also writing to try to get a few quid and finding their review shoved off the newest reviews page by someone writing so many in one day. A bonus is, when you have less time on your hands, you can then crosspost all those differnet reviews.
As for abusive emails, if anyone, incl a guide, is being abusive, use your block function and contact Dooyoo Team with the abusive content.
Thank you for explaining it like that. It makes sense but surely everyone can write as many reviews as they feel comfortable doing? I haven't contacted the dooyoo team about the guide's emails because he is a guide so I didn't want to muddy the waters so to speak.
Thanks for your help. I'm off now.

And with regards to your comment about being rude… sneaking off to another website to moan about a member. Well, that's quality etiquette, isn't it? It's not exactly brilliant when (IMO) you're not showing a lot of respect to the community in general.0 -
People can indeed write as many as they are comfortable writing. However, Dooyoo want to encourage MORE people tow rite, rather than fewer writers, tog et more voices heard. And disgruntled writers go elsewhere where their review will get more reads by not getting so quickly lost in teh shuffle. Dooyoo has in the recent past actually said if too many people complain directly about flooding/churning, they will seriously have a rethink about putting up a limit on daily reviews. So its beneficial all the way round to to spread it out a bit.
As for muddying the wters, don't worry about it. Only dooyoo Team see your emails, the gudes don't. So if you have an issue witha guide, or another member, contact DooYoo team. It's what they are there forAnd to clarify things, I will mention I know these things, as I happen to be a Guide over there myself.

I just looked over your review, and I don't see any bad feedback. What i saw was constructive criricism meant to point you towards improving your review to get higher ratings and rewards.Taking thata dvice will get the cash flowing sooner with less effort at writing multiple reviews.
Yeah I guess it was constructive criticism, but I still can't be bothered, takes too long to earn cash. Might aswell just do over-time at work!0 -

In terms of rates, you need to rate half as much again just to match the amount of rates you've been given. That is the very least you should be aiming for, especially with all that time on your hands.

with respect nor is trolling on here. Your post count indicates you are new here and you've already been part of one closer thread - not exactly a great record so far. As a plus for DooYoo I joined up 2 days ago, have written 5 reviews in the 3 days (well 2 days and so far today), been rated 22 times, rated other people 17 times and have been given a mixture of encouraging and guiding feedback. I'll never be writing more than a few reviews each day but so far I feel really welcomed into the community. The people I've interacted with have been really helpful in aiding me to improve my rating technique and I've earned the equivalent of £2.80 so far, that can't be a bad return for 5 reviews and reading some other peoples!0
