So I replied but I wish I had not risen to it. People take the fun out of things so often online.

"Revenge rating? I beg your pardon; how old do you think I am? I more than likely have a child older than you and have better things to do than to exact "revenge" via an internet site. I suggest that if you take such umbrage then you should find more constructive things to do with your time than to go around sending threatening and abusive messages to strangers in the virtual world who do not fawn over your every word."

I received a very aggressive email on my 2nd day from a member accusing me of giving them a 'revenge rating'. I reported them to dooyoo straight away and they were very helpful. I suggest you do the same and let dooyoo deal with it. They replied straight back to me and sent a really nice email.

I have also sent you a PM.

You know what, I don't care? I am very grateful to you and have PMed you back but what I mean is, as I said above, if someone cares that much, then THEY have the problem, not me. I shall not give in to these vanity ratings. I will keep being honest, as I think it was Shakespeare once said, "To thine own self be true". And if some sad halfwit wants to exact "revenge" on me via inappropriate ratings, they will look silly, not me, and I will get the money anyway. Although it's not that much about the money for me anyway; see how sporadically I review, and that I never do more than 3 in a day.

yes, spammers occasionally try it on. Just report to DooYoo team and they get out their mighty smiting stick.

How do the reviews work with dooyoo. I can see they have places they want reviewed but can you suggest new ones?

Yes, you can suggest new places to review. It usually takes about 3 days to be approved and you get 10 points if they approve it. They expect you to review the place as you have suggested it.
