Of course.
My advice, which is always right and always ignored, is that if you're new to the site, read around first. Find topics that you're interested in and read reviews on those. When you're comfortable with the reviews, start rating, but please make sure you're rating how useful you find the review. If there's something you think is missing, take that into consideration when deciding your rating and if necessary, comment. In an ideal world, all reviews should have a scattering of different ratings on them making any complaints about revenge or tactical rating a moot point.
Review writing is fun, but there's loads more to it than simply bunging out 700 words. Opinion and personal experience is worth far more to any browser/potential consumer than listing the ingredients of a chocolate bar or the features of a computer game.
Think of the HOWs and WHYs. How does a product do something? How well does it do it? How easy is it to use? Why did you pick this over something similar? Those kinds of thing.
Try to stay away from the WHATs. What does it do? What is it for? What price is it? These questions are by and large already answered by people who come to the site looking for the stuff that the official sources never give.
Have a look at the site... there are plenty of advice pieces written by reviewers much better (and worse) than me. They're always a good place to start.0 -

If you want a better idea of the quality of your review, it's best to see how the guides are rating. Their rates tend to be more accurate. Or get your wife/husband/significant other to simply nominate your work. Job done! :T
I am always honest...I tell you if I have nominated you, but if I don't say anything, it means I haven't!!:p0 -
I just signed up for dooyoo a few months ago, but have only started writing reviews this week really. I've noticed a number of people who also say that there reviews are on Ciao. Are you allowed to put the same review on both sites?0

I hate Ciao; 36p is all I got so I have something I want to give them!!0

LOL! Sadly though, people will think you're just sucking up. My advice? If you are really that impressed with someone's work, PM them.
That kind of forces you to be more verbose in your praise. You're more likely to say "I think that your review about MSE was great because..." and explain why rather than the rather pity sounding "Great review! Nominated!"
There's also that, with the PM system in place, the comments thread of a review should be primarily about the topic being reviewed or the content of the review. For example, if you think something is missing from a review, then mention it in a comment. If you're going to complain about grammar or spelling, then that's better left for a PM. You should think of the comments thread as an additional part of the review rather than just a way to say something to the review author.0 -

Yes, you can post the same review to Ciao and epinions as well if so inclined BUT must either say it crossposted to teh other palces in the review as a footnote or in your member profile. I have that info on my profile as I also post reviews for books and DVDs that are reviewless over at Amazon, as well as at Ciao for those few pennies (though income share works out ok, I just got paid £15 by them, for the same reviews I did at Dooyoo, thought hat took me three months to amass there) and Epinions.budget meals can be good meals0 -
I used to write on Dooyoo a lot, and must get back over there as I enjoy the writing and the amazon vouchers will come in handy for some xmas pressies.0
