Guides are happy to look over a review and make suggestions. Plus, a review can be crowned at anytime, not just the week it is written. It is entirely possible for an older review to be looked over, nominated, and get a crown. So if it was overlooked, and not nommed in reality, it still has a chance

well i have just signed up and written my first review, and 2 people have already rated it within about 30 seconds lol!!! :j

I am actually a guide on dooyoo and have been a member over there for several years. It is fun and a great way to earn pocket money/amazon vouchers. It is worth noting that you need to spend some time and effort reading and rating other member reviews and as well as just writing your own, though - if members notice you are not contributing, you will soon find they won't bother to read yours! I now get myself a £10 amazon voucher typically for every 3 to 4 reviews I write (along with a couple of hours of pleasant reading, rating and chatting with my dooyoo frinds online each week). Worth doing!

Sometimes reviews get crowned late because guides get behind on their reading in their category, LOL.

i'm quite new to dooyoo. Is there any maximum amount of reviews you can do in one day? i know you guys have said if you are see to churn out reviews then people wont read your reviews..but do dooyoo actually set a limit on how many you can do?

you can do a similar thing on http://www.ciao.co.uk, but it must take years to earn any money, i posted 10 reviews and made 25p haha!

This is a common misconception. Guides can "flag" reviews that they think crownworthy for dooyoo to look at but it is dooyoo who decide what gets crowned. Reviews I have not nominated get crowned as well as reviews that I have. Guides are there more to point out what might otherwise get missed.

If you do not get a crown it is not because a Guide did not nominate it b ut rather that it has not received enough nominations or dooyoo have decided not to crown it for reasons of their own.

Nope there are no official rules on how many reviews you can write as long as you are careful to keep within the guidelines. If you just write the same old rubbish dooyoo will start clamping down.
