• Hi All

Sadly I read all these postings too late and I have also become a victim of this fradulent company. I purchased tickets for Tina Turner on 3rd March and like so many others, the tickets didn't arrive and phone calls and emails have resulted in zero response or bouncebacks.

I should be able to claim the money back from my credit card company so all is not lost but I am so gutted I didn't get to see Tina for the last time.

I am also incensed that thefootballticketshop.com continues to trade online and it appears as if no one is willing to do anything about it. I've written to BBC Watchdog and trading standards. Even the O2 themselves know about this company and so do my credit card company but can't do anything. I fear that with the event of Michael Jackson announcing shows at the O2 this company will set up a "michaeljacksonworldtour.com" site and con more poor unsuspecting people.

I hope that by at least by posting messages like this in forums and discussion boards the message will get round and save others from the same fate.
• I have just realized that i have been done by these scum bags! I paid £256 pounds back in August for the Wales Ireland game next week and no tickets have arrived. As I am over the six month period and I paid on a direct debit card i probs won't get my money back! this was a 40th birthday present for my partner so i am pretty upset! what i don't understand is WHY is this company still trading? they feature on every single site! can anybody throw some light on this for me?

• I have lost my money and I am furious!!! I have contacted everyone I can think of. Is there nothing we can do? I have been robbed and don't think they should get away with it!!
• Exactly the same thing has happened to me....I also booked tickets from what was www.tinaturner.com and paid £208 for two tickets, only to be told 9 months later by my credit card company when I was chasing the tickets that it was thefootballticketshop that the purchase went through! Both websites have now disappeared and I have to go through a lengthy process of trying to claim back through my credit card company!

I cannot believe this, i wish i had checked earlier, but because it was The Supposidly Tina Turner Site i thought all would be ok!!! I have been ripped off by thefootballticketshop.com and it was a gift for my mum and Grandma!! 3 tockets for £125. I am a bit worried as i did pay on my credit card and fear they may use my card in future. I could think of a few good swear words right now!!!! Have you managed to get your money back ???

I know that this thread could be moved to the 'Praise, Vent & Warnings' board but I think that it is more useful here, where it will warn people who are going to buy tickets.;)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

• Hi can anyone help me with this one... i purchased 2 Tina turner tickets through a website that said it was Tina turners own site. however they have taken my money out of my account and they say that the tickets will be sent 7 day before the event, which is march next year the tickets are on sale now why cant they send them or is this a con.
Has anyone else done business with them are they reputable?
