Silvercharming - glad to hear that Dave is better, and I hope you will be able to bring him home with you.

Moliere - I hope you have a fabulous day tomorrow, I shall think of you all.

Essexgirl - I hope that your dad asks for help soon, it must be very hard for you to watch.

Well I had a very productive day, ripped up remaining floo ring in the kids bathroom, still not mended the loo, needs a new flushing unit - no I'm not suddenly an expert plumber I phoned a friend to come and help me lol! Had a coffee and a good catch up though - he's just back from camping and still doesn't like it, though the kids loved it and his wife was okay with it! He's amazed at why and how I can love it so much!

Nipped out to B&Q and got some plants, they're all reduced to half price, fab chilli plant full of chillis, and popped them all in the gaps in the garden.

Gave up on pasta as weather was so gloomy and threw curry in SC, guess what, sun is now shining brightly lol!

Well it's wine o'clock now I think, nice glass whilst I make naan's and onion bhajis! Have a nice evening all xx

Just to let you all know that Dave is HOME!!!! He's pretty poorly still and he's got masses of medicines but he's in good spirits. He finds it hilarious that I've spent the day cleaning and says he's going to get admitted to hospital every week . And he said to give you all big bear hugs from him! So :grouphug:

    Hi all

Have just sped read the last two days posts, so please forgive me if I forget something - this going out to work again has been a shock to the system:eek:

Mioliere - have a fantastic day tomorrow, plenty of tissues and loads of photos please
Charliesmum - won't be long till we are saying the same to you!
Taplady - hope you get to do your course, my DD is going to take something like that when the baby is a bit older, she also wants to do one to do dance/exercise with mums and toddlers.
Rzl - glad your eye is getting better
Wannabe Sybil - your post about taking little bear out on reins took me back, awwwwwww they're so lovely when they can start to explore the world.
Silvercharming - so glad they have found out what is wrong with Dave and can treat it, must be a huge weight off your shoulders.
Jayward - glad to hear you are home, nothing like your own bed is there?
Splodge - good to see you posting and also good to hear that things are, if not ok, are getting better.
KAAT - you should have told the nosy lookers to come and help!
Candy - enjoy your evening, and the drinkypoo
Joannasmum - try to take a little bit of time for you, isn't it always the way though that they have tantrums, scream and shout but then when you are with someone they become little angels, am sure my mum used to think I was making it up.
    Hanniebis - welcome

As I said, am sorry if I have missed anything/anyone so have some (((hugs))) just incase

This job has not been what it said on the tin, they decided that as I was only there for 3 days, no point in getting me a logon to the system , so not done much at all, just phone and buzzing people in, have found it very tireing and also annoying, but am being paid hourly rate as medical sec so have just grinned and bared it, last day tomorrow, don't think either agency has anything for me next week

Silvercharming - (((hugs))) I'm so glad Dave is back and on the mend. :)

Still no word of confirmation from the venue, but I'm going to go ahead and start making my plans anyway. My sister is somewhat of an artist and I'm going to try and get her with a piping bag to do tattoo-style artwork over ready-rolled icing to see what they look like. I think they'll look pretty good. :) I've got ideas for the favours in my mind, and need to check up with my friend about the status of the dress on eBay I'm watching *excited* I know it isn't until August next year, but I'm all excited and can't help it. :) OOH! And the marquee (hope that's spelt right) arrived today! Instead of hiring one, we've bought a 10ft by 20ft one so we can set up the Wii outside for the reception, and ALL the guests can mingle. :) The OH can also use when he's polishing his pride and joy car and it's looking like raining. :)

I totally blew my "try to have a no spend day today" when, incredibly irritated from the morning at work, I went into Tesco and got 4 chocolate eclairs for £1... I only had 2 though... And because of that and the OH going out in a few minutes, we had tomorrow night's meal tonight, and I'll do sweet and sour pork tomorrow night when I feel a bit less angsty.

(((hugs to those in need))) I hope everyone has a lovely evening, I'm going to try and forget tonight, and resolve to do some exercise tomorrow to make up for the eclairs!
Continually trying the Grocery Challenge. Gotta keep trying!

Candygirl - hope your dad is ok after his fall.
Hanniebis - it's nice to venture out of lurkdome isn't it? Glad that you are enjoying the threads - I find them really good - so much advice and support on here and no-one being judgemental.
(((poppyoscar))) - hope things continue to work for you - talking is always good isn't it> Great to keep communication going.

Had a winner at the races - DH had 3. NOT that I'm jealous. Great sunny afternoon but thunder and rain for the 2 pony races at the end. Shame really as they didn't have such a crowd watching. We stayed though sport-smiley-001.gif

Quiet evening here reading a book. I think I have about 12 from the library because I couldn't choose!
