Yep the £6k eXtra. So happy I didn't try to save £5/month by going for the £1k policy given what's happened :) .

That's exactly what I have for my Cocker @ £96-odd (£8-odd/mth). How much was yours?

£152 (£12.67) for a (as was) 3 month old lab. I can see why they charge more for labs :) .

Like you say, it'll be interesting to see what they charge for renewal - please report back in July and I'll do the same in November...
    Cheers!

    Hi,

I did not know about the claim limit hopefully I won't hit that. Can''t change the insurance now anyway as it's a pre-existing condition so no one would cover it, so i'm stuck either way. Otherwise I've had no problems with them.

Just reread my post and I should have been more clear. The claim limit is per condition, so the bad news is you'll be limited to £7k for anything related to that bladder problem. Of course, there's nothing to stop you leaving MoreThan after you've hit that £7k limit.

The good news is that you're still covered for all non-related conditions, again up to the £7k max per condition. How strict MoreThan are on relating conditions is the key, but everything I've read about them paints them as one of the good guys.

    Hi

I think we'll be going with Halifax too. It's half the price of Petplan & NFU and the policy looks as good.

Just have to hope they don't push up their prices at renewal

If you have the details and don't mind sharing, could you post the quotes you got for the proper lifetime policies? We're locked in with Halifax now that we've claimed, but it's always useful to know.
