But if SEL label says you get points, you are entitled to get them!

The exact point I have had for near a week now. They are happy to leave the sel's in place to have you think they are part of the offer. But only after they take the money they try to tell you otherwise or say the points will be added later.

If as a previous poster on here and tesco have you believe the cheaper chart is not part of the offer, why are they leaving the printed next to the cheap cd title "500 points" offer still there on the sel?. They can't have it both ways. They have known about the problem for a good week now and have claimed the cheap chart is not part of the offer. If stores are instructed to leave the sel's in place any person, when they can print new ones (sel's) out and have them replaced in minutes, who buys of the cheap chart with the 500 point sel's on has a fairly valid legal claim under advertising regulations to claim them points at the time of transaction. If our store still has the sel's in place on friday I'm going to buy more cd's and claim the points and not leave store untill I get them.

I've never used airmiles before, does anyone know how many Tesco points I would need for 2 return flights to Japan? Trying to work out my points totals to get us our holidays sorted for next year since we now can't use our points for the OU.

Hi a flight to tokyo is 8000 miles return £2.50 in rewards = 60 miles so 8000 divid 60 = 133.3 times 2.50 or 333 can only change in £2.50 I think so £335 in rewards = 8040 a real shame u didn't change before 25th March as getting double miles for first time exchanges from tesco rewards to airmiles.Hope this helps Quickest way is to use as many extra points deals u can i.e. currently on dvds cds and games I think on mobile phones also in the past on wine. If you use credit card think about the tesco credit card where you earn extra points £4 spend gives you 1pt or 5pt if in tesco store or 9pt while double pts are on at moment now it has got confusing.

Does anyone know if you still get points for topping up your PAYG mobile in Tesco?

I'm with Orange, if that matters.

    Thanks.

Yes, I think so. I got a till spit last week for 100 bonus points when I top up my phone with £10, so that presumes you do, I'd say.

We get double points at moment for topping up in store which i assume will be for any network although ours is tesco which we then also get triple points added on statement for each top up ie £15 top up = 45 extra points although this is an offer which has been extended. We also get triple free credit each month ie £15 = £30 free credit =£45 although the £30 free credit has to be used in the month or is removed

All users of the large Ladybird Tesco bags beware, although it clearly states on the bag that you will get 3 points every time you use it Tesco has changed its policy any now only gives 1 point per bag regardless of size. I have challenged Tesco Customer Services on this and they confirm that this is correct. However the bags are still on sale at my local store and they still say 3 points per use on them. There is no notice to say that the policy has changed so surely this is contravening the Trades Description Act 1968. Can any T.D.A.1968 expert confirm this please? (Martin - what do you think?)
Tesco Customer Service say they changed because some people were abusing the system and using the large bags for just one or two items but still getting 3 points. This seems unfair for all the genuine users out there. They could have easily said that to get the 3 points the bag needs to be fully used. I have now stopped using mine and gone back to using multiple 'bags for life' instead.
I feel cheated after buying the bag specifically for the extra points but now not able to get them. I'm not impressed with Tesco's dishonesty.

The actual policy is 1 point per bag unless it is a Tesco bag that states the amount of points to be given. If you are using a Ladybird bag that says 3 points on it you are best to tell the checkout assistant.
