I feel cheated after buying the bag specifically for the extra points but now not able to get them. I'm not impressed with Tesco's dishonesty.
You could ask for your money back for the bag?

The actual policy is 1 point per bag unless it is a Tesco bag that states the amount of points to be given. If you are using a Ladybird bag that says 3 points on it you are best to tell the checkout assistant.

Try it - Tesco policy is 1 point per bag - even the large ladybird bag with 3 points per use printed on them. I have it in black and white on email from Tesco Customer Services Manager. I have argued it but he is adament it's 1 point per bag now and the staff at my local store will not honour the 3 points on ladybird bags. Believe me I've complained enough times to them about it.

I can go one better, I read it on the staff briefing that it is one per bag UNLESS it is Tesco bag that states otherwise.

Hi a flight to tokyo is 8000 miles return £2.50 in rewards = 60 miles so 8000 divid 60 = 133.3 times 2.50 or 333 can only change in £2.50 I think so £335 in rewards = 8040 a real shame u didn't change before 25th March as getting double miles for first time exchanges from tesco rewards to airmiles.Hope this helps Quickest way is to use as many extra points deals u can i.e. currently on dvds cds and games I think on mobile phones also in the past on wine. If you use credit card think about the tesco credit card where you earn extra points £4 spend gives you 1pt or 5pt if in tesco store or 9pt while double pts are on at moment now it has got confusing.

Thanks very much for that. I already do all the bonus offers, racked up about £600 of points last year which paid for a very heavy year of open university level 2 couses for my H2B. Next year though we're planning New York and Japan as our two holidays, so I'll need to aim for about £700 points, there seems to be a bit of a points drought atm though!

Just come back from shopping some tesco finest ready made meals got 100pts offer if you r lucky and got hold of their magazine for this month you also got 100pts for spending £10 so in effect buy 2 meals with 100pts each take u over £10 then get another 100pts = 300 extra pts although I noticed their magazine wasn't to be found so maybe they have taken it off the floor while offer on so maybe if u were lucky to get mag before offer. Now I have got to go and unpack that shopping hope this is usefull to somebody
