Are you saying it will take you more than 2 years to save up?
Remember, there's no guarantee Goldsmiths will still be in the scheme by then.

i bought some ink cartridges on ebay they were 20 quid plus postage look under travel and tickets the supermarket vouchers and search empty ink you get 100 points each cartridge and can send 30 in which is 120 quid in deals.its limited to 30 cartridges a year

Any shopping you do on the Tesco website will earn points if you register on the site so you could earn points for books, cd's, dvd's, games etc.

I've also found getting my petrol at Tesco helps to bump the points up a bit!

just signed up with E.on on a capped deal and you get tesco points - has anyone any experience of this.

Can't comment on the capped deal in particular, but I've been with E.on a while and get my tesco points added every month at the same date my direct debit for the energy goes out. Haven't had to chase them or anything. You do need to tell E.on that you want to collect points though - they'll need your tesco number - and that's about all the admin there is.

The capped deal is the same, it should tell you your clubcards points on your Eon statement. No problems so far and I switched from normal to capped.

We have used deals tokens twice, we went to Florida this year , and got about £800 off and are booked for Las Vegas/LA/San Diego next year, with £1300 off. :T
In 2006 I had a new double oven and washing machine paid for using tesco vouchers.

We have Tesco credit cards, which we use to pay for everything.

We've decided to use ours toward a Florida holiday for 2010 - I'm curious to know from anyone who's done this -

Did you find the saving worthwhile? i only ask because we wanted to use ours for Butlins last year and found that the 'internet' price was only if you were paying in full - use Tesco vouchers and they want the full price anyway, so you save nothing from somebody else just booking online as normal

I work for tesco and they are in the process of investigating individuals who are abusing the clubcard points scheme, for example large numbers of points accumulated, multiple cards at the same address etc. Please be aware that there are limits to the number of ink cartridges and mobile phones that can be recycled both per household and per year. Not worth the risk of being banned from the scheme.

If you join their Christmas saver club, they'll send you out the vouchers once a year instead of 4 times, and if the vouchers expire, you can just ring them up and explain & they will usually just send you out new ones. Best thing is probably to ring up their customer services and ask what's the best way around it!

So I'm now terribly confused, I thought from the discussions on here so far that the quickest way to get points instore was with Clubcard Plus.

But, if xxD3athxx is right, when s/he said

Now, there has been a change to the credit card point system first of all. This took place about a year ago, and unfortunately many customers misunderstand the rate. Outside of tesco is 1 point for every £4 spent, in tesco is the standard rate; 1 point for every £1 spent plus your 5 points for every £4 spent.

that would mean you got 9 points per £4 in tesco (4 'normal' clubcard points and 5 credit card ones). If that's right it's only an extra point per £4 over the clubcard plus, but they all add up...
