Not sure if this is the right place but if i buy my euros using my clubcard plus from tescos will i get double point or does anyone know if I can do this thanks in advance Jo
I had this q answered the other day. I'm not sure if this applies when you order online, but if you go into a store and use their currency counter they will give you 25 pts for every £250 you get. Which is pretty poor as it is not even 250pts like on a shop for that amount tbh. And, I dont think this increases if you use cc+, but I have yet to try that! I would double check in your local store.

Hi
Sorry if this is a stupid question - I have checked as many previous threads as I can to see if already answered.
I've noticed people seem to save huge amounts of points for holidays etc - but the vouchers have a use by date on them.
Are people saving all these points in a matter of months? How much are you all eating!!! (joke)
I totally know what you mean! I work for one of the holiday companies in the Deals brochure and cannot believe how much people manage to accumulate! We get people booking with £1500 of tokens, so whats that? £375 of points??!?
One thing to remember though is that with some deals you can combine your tokens with another family's as long as you're both going on the holiday, so that helps I guess.
Just please please please remember to read all the terms and conditions before going ahead with booking so you're not disappointed when you call to book.0 -
Hi daisychain13
Luckily I found some instructions on the Paid to Shop website - I would never have found it on the tesco.com site otherwise (thanks, Muddles on PTS!!).
Go to www.tesco.com & log in to your account
Click on Groceries & Wine section
............Groceries
............Offers & Ideas - Along tool bar in green writing
............Recommend a Friend - If you scroll down to the bottom this is on the RHS under 'Every Little Helps'
Then just fill in the details
The person you recommend needs to spend £50 (before any discounts or BOGOF deals) and they also get 500 points once the order is delivered and paid for. They can also use a code for 1000 points for a £50 shop as well (I can't remember which one my friend used but it was one of the ones listed on this site.
So in total they get 1000 points + 500 points (worth £60 in deals - well worth the trouble!!):T plus the points they would normally get for shopping at Tescos. You get 500 points (£20 in deals) for every friend you recommend (don't think there is any limit!!)
My friend also got an email the next day with a code for an additional £10 off a £75 spend for their next shop (but she hasn't used it yet so don't know if any restrictions on it being used with other codes).
Hope this information is all correct- apologies if I have misunderstood the value of any points or deals - I am new to all this and learning loads from MSE and PTS!!
Hope this helps!! x

Probably a really stupid basic question here but I can't find the answer anywhere on the Tescos website. When you've done your shooping at Tescos how many days does it take for those points to be credited to your account?
I had some shopping delivered on Wednesday and I've yet to receive the points for it (think I had a 1000 extra points code that might of worked so I'm dying to know!).
Does anyone know the time scale involved for points getting added onto your account?1st Aim = Pay off Virgin CC - £3929.110 -
we are trying to save points to put towards a holiday, in the recommend a friend would I be allowed to use my daughters name which is same as mine but she is at a different address and doesnt go to tesco, get her to do my shopping order from her email address and have them deliver to my address?? Would I receive 500 points and my daughter would get 500points could she then send for holiday vouchers to give to me as we both have same surname or is this really cheeky and out of order???0

Hi everyone, some really good ideas for boosting points on here. I've just had my clubcard plus account verified, should be getting my welcome pack etc soon. Never knew you could reccommend a friend to the shopping online, will let my mum know as she's saving for a few xmas pressies like me.
Not seen it on here but you can get 4 points for every pound you top up (tesco mobile of course). thought that was quite good tho.£387.39/£196.46

I know fortunately ID isn't always checked in store. But I'd rather have airmiles.
What do you think are my chances of exchanging points from my dad to airmiles I can use?Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker0 -
Hi, dont know if ive posted in the right thread but have a question
Tesco send out vouchers quaterly with points voucher now id like to save alot of points to use at goldsmiths and it will take me a while to get the points required for my purchase but the expiry date on these vouchers are for 2 years? Is there a way they won't send you these vouchers so that i can allow the points to build up then when ive got enough turn them into goldsmith vouchers then recieve them?

The points vouchers that you receive quarterly are valid for 2 years, then when you change them for deals tokens, these are valid for 6 months so, even without any re-crediting of vouchers in between, you have at least 2 1/2 years to save up your points before you book.
We have used deals tokens twice, we went to Florida this year, and got about £800 off and are booked for Las Vegas/LA/San Diego next year, with £1300 off. :T
In 2006 I had a new double oven and washing machine paid for using tesco vouchers.
