Hello all
This is my very first post and I have been a lurker for over a year!!! This thread is truly inspirational. I have a debt to Tesco credit cards of £993.72 and I was so blown away by the idea that I have now added up the change in a jar under my stairs - £6 in all and that can come off it for starters. I am absolutely skint so when I get paid next week I will pay in an extra £1 for every day since today making a grand total of an extra £14 off the debt. My goal is to pay £1 a day. Cheers to all you people out there in getting free of nasty old debt land.:beer:In Shackles to the debt God to the tune of nearly £4000 but at least my sigs got pretty colours in it!

Hi All
I have decided to up my daily payments to my LTSB card to £1 a day. The reason for this is that the number of £s I have got to pay off it is roughly equal to the number of days I have got left until the 0% APR deal runs at. If £1 goes out every weekday and then I add a bit extra to my minimum payment once a month, I should be able to pay it off in time, with no real pain!
I think I might increase my payments to my Tesco card to £1 a day as well, seeing as I have set myself the challenge of paying it off by Christmas. Don't know whether I will manage it but I will give it a really good go!
I have decided not to make extra little payments to my Littlewoods account since I found out I don't earn any cashback on payments of less than £20! Grrrrr!:mad:PigginSkint's debt free diary
