Many thanks Debt Free Dreamer for your advice. I have decided not to use the coinstar machine and have counted the coins out instead. The total is £13.68 - going against my visa!!

My dad is going to take the coins into his local bank and insist they change them up for him. It is one of his favourite past-times, upsetting the bank! When they say they can only change them in amounts up to £5 he demands to see the manager and asks them what it says outside....."Bank! Well sir in my day banks took money so take mine and change it up" Now he is 82 but he does it with such style (and volume) that he gets away with it everytime :rotfl:****
