" I know exactly how you feel Fag_Ash_LilI'm just wishing it was Jan 2nd already
I feel guilty that I haven't got the kids much and it doesn't matter how many times people tell me the kids understand etc and their dad is doing !!!!!! all as usual (he won't even be in the country) I've always spoilt them at Christmas and gone overboard and it's so frustrating and upsetting that I can't do it this year!! But fingers crossed next year will be sorted cos I'm determined to save for it!!! ) .............
I couln't have put it better myself ....... I also feel guilty that i'm not going overboard like i normally do ....... If fact i still haven't bought her anything yet ! ...... If i don't think of something soon , I just know that i'll end up " hammering " my credit card and buying her a new mega expensive " super duper fandangled " mobile ..... I've always bought her a new one at Christmas time ( god knows why ! ) ...... and i'm really trying hard to stop myself buying her one this year ..... As i've managed to get one of my credit cards down to only £150 on it , as i was hoping to start the new year off with one card i could use and pay off totally each month ....... Decisions ..... Decisions ! ....

lol!!!! :rotfl: That made me laugh.
We shouldn't beat ourselves up for using credit. The key is that we are in control and not using it beyond our means. I ordered some stuff from Next last night. I have cleared the statement for this month and know i can repay what i've ordered by next month. The big difference is we all think about what we owe and start repaying before the statement arrives, rather than waiting and not worrying. Keep your chins up Greenbynature and Terri, we're not bad people (well, not that bad!!!:p ). Love and hugs to you both xxxOne step at a time0 -
Hi folks wet and windy here here today.
