    I know exactly how you feel Fag_Ash_Lil :confused: I'm just wishing it was Jan 2nd already :o I feel guilty that I haven't got the kids much and it doesn't matter how many times people tell me the kids understand etc and their dad is doing !!!!!! all as usual (he won't even be in the country) I've always spoilt them at Christmas and gone overboard and it's so frustrating and upsetting that I can't do it this year!! But fingers crossed next year will be sorted cos I'm determined to save for it!!!

    Had to watch my pennies lately due to still waiting for new job to start,. So not been able to do some but not been overspending either but today the guilt hit me so here i am making my payments

  • hi, sad day here. woke up with a dreadful hangover, paid 115 quid for car part then had dreadful news from my mum - my grandad passed away this morning. :cry: the funeral won't be until after the 5 jan as apparently in cardiff the crematorium has a huge backlog. the only positive thing about this is that my dad will be able to fly over from the states and actually stay for awhile to help my aunty and uncle sort things out (which wouldn't be possible at short notice).

    so feeling pretty rubbish. pound to savings.

    Sorry to hear your news Vicky. Someone passing away always seems so much harder at this time of year. I hope you and your family are able to comfort each other. Best wishes and a big hug from me too hun xxx

    Is it too late to join this challenge? Have 'heard' about it, but only just thought about it (if that makes sense:confused: ).
