  • £2.50 change from my weekly shop this week!
I'm also shopping at Morrisons, so will benefit from that £20 voucher just before christmas! It's my usual supermarket down the road and I usually spend £45 anyway, so that will be free money!

Daughter has her first classmates b/d party to go to next saturday - does anyone have any ideas as to what we could get a 5yr old boy on the cheap?! Any help will be much appreciated - preferably less than £3/£4!

Have a good day everyone! x
The book people do packs of picture books for silly prices....10 for a £6 and things like that. I always have a stack of books for parties. A book and a packet of sweets is a good pressie. Come in handy for stocking fillers etc too.

  • Evening all.

Didn't get round to posting yesterday but did pay off £9.73 to dreaded VIRGIN:mad: . Finally got around to updating my signature too, and although Tescos c/c as increased and theres an addition ( CAPITAL ONE !) this is due to trf amounts from VIRGIN to lower interest rates cards! Which knocked three months off my DF date on my snowball acct. So that can't be all bad

This finally showed up today on VIRGIN acct , so am going to ring them again tomorrow . My original limit was £17, 500 and have already reduced the limit down to £9K so can now reduce the limit again to £6K. To stop temptation. although since starting this challenge I have a completley different outlook to spending on my c/cards. But better to be safe than sorry;)

Anyhow as for today just put another £2 in the pot!

Well done to everyone for all overpayments made this week:T

Its the weekend , so enjoy!!!!!!!!! x

I've just ordered a couple of books through my playgroup today for my daughter for Christmas. These were through the book people and have to agree they are great value. I also buy the items which have a pack of 10 books and save them when any of my chidren are invited to parties , then split them up as prezzies !:D

    Hi all
£5 for me today - should have been a little more as I have some pennies in my box but had a day out today (NSD!) so didn't go into town and deposit my pennies. Something to look forward to on Monday I guess.

Hope you all have a lovely Friday night.
