Just worked out that in the last two months I have managed to pay 11.52% off my total debt. Mainly because before I had Niamh I was a shopaholic and now now im not gong out im using all my spare cash to throw at my debts (mainly because I dont really want to go back to work after my Maternity Leave ends, so thats my motivation, and its a bloody good one!)Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Frasersmum you made me smile most people blame having kids for not having any money so your twist on the situation is great.
You are going great guns with your debt and I agree your motivation is one of the best.:T They grow up so quickly if you are able to spend time with them than I would say go with it. I don't regret being a stay at home mum even with the debt I have. As my mother says its only money and you can't take it with you her exact quote is "there's no pockets in shrouds":rotfl:
Enjoy your day with the children.

Hi all :hello:
Well had a drink last night with OH and yes I wanted a cig - he hates smoking and has never smoked so he doesn't quite understand how I feel and we ended up having a nice big argument!!!He told me to go and buy some cigs and stop being such a b!tch!!!!! huh!!! I didnt buy any tho got a bar of choc instead
anyway we're ok now lol and I've just been to lidl and bought another couple of those gorgeous choccie bars :rotfl: :rotfl: I've just noticed as I started keeping an online spending diary couple of weeks ago, how much less I've spent by not smoking this last week - every time I went to shop for cigs I'd always buy something else.
Put £2.23 into change jar and paid £2 to kays
Have a nice weekend all

Hello peeps ...
Glad to hear that the majority of you are managing to keep up with your payments ..... no matter how small ....
Not a great day for me today  .....
Had a horrendous bill in this morning ..... so bad that when i did the " snowball " on it , it says it will take me until 2037 ( 29 years ) to pay it :eek:.... That's if the amount i offer is accepted ....( and no i haven't been living the " high " life to get me into this situation !! ) ...
So to be honest i'm " burying my head " in the sand untill monday .... and then will worry about it then . In a minute am going round to see some friends and will no doubt " down " a good few or more bottles of wine and maybe even more ! .... Not the answer i know ........., but "what the hell " .....
Sorry ...... rant over ..... Am just feeling sorry for myselfbut I do feel better for getting that " off my chest "
....
Anyway here's my Good and Bad for today ...
The Good - Added £3 to my pot.....
I never get a hangover ....
The Bad - Horrendous bill and haven't had got any CHOCCY
Will catch you all tomorrow ..... and i promise to be cheerful !!
Enjoy the rest of the day ...

Have added £4.64 to my account today, the money I got off my shopping by using my little brothers staff discount card. I also chatted with h last night and he's agreed he'll give me what extra he can to pay off my loan too, then once it's gone we'll concentrate on the ones he has in his name, so hopefully will be abel to keep up with the payment a day with his help.Total Debt (27th Nov 08) £16,707.03 Now £5,102.72Debt Free Date [strike]Nov 2012[/strike] August 20110
