Thank you all for the good wishes.
I am feeling incredibly bleurgh and sorry for myself but am wide awake
The emergency doc says 2 weeks off, but need to phone GP at 8 for appointment to get sick note. I am hoping they will do one without me going in as I have seen the emergency doc.

Other than that, the plan for today is ............

Freezer and store cupboard inventory so that I don't have to go out for shopping over the next two weeks - I could ask DH to shop but it would cost three times as much and defeat the object of what I am trying to achieve :D

Once I have the list I will then do a meal plan for the rest of the month. I am aiming for 35 meals so that there are some interchanges available for the unexpected.or don't fancy that days

    Best wishes to everyone
    Gilly

    take care.
    Good plan though!
I have been too busy to actually shop for a couple of weeks and it is amazing what you have to use up, despite trying to be frugal!
Know what you mean about DH..mine's the same.

Unfortunately my grandad had to go into hosp. yesterday. He's ok but will be in for a couple of nights. I had to go and get him new pjs etc and had to put it all on my cap 1 card. It just made me smile! In for a penny in for a pound! Will be paying it all back before the end of the month though. The main thing is grandad is fine and enjoying the care from some lovely nurses. He might be 87 but still enjoys a bit of banter! :D

Just £1 to cap 1 card and some change hubby left lying around in the jar ;)

Have a good day everyone - get well soon Gilly. Let us know how you get on with your meal planning.
One step at a time ;)
