  • Hi everyone!
Thanks for your kind words "payback time, northernspender, double trouble and fag_ash_lil"! Am feeling better about it all now, am kind-of glad in a way that maybe I haven't gone and got a loan. We're doing ok without and we will get there eventually!

I've managed to get husband to give up sky sports so that's going to save us £18/month - don't know how I managed to get him to agree with that(!), but he says that he wants it back on in february for the start of champions league - but hey, I've got a few months on a lower tariff!

I hopw everyone has had a good weekend, a good halloween and hopefully the weather gets better for bonfires this week! x
  • Thanks fag_ash_lil but I am quite happy with serving a whole life sentence:love: and he brought me choccies rum truffles my favourite:smileyhea which I am going to start tonight and Lewis Hamilton is World Champion:beer: so a pretty good day all in all:beer::j:T:D:EasterBun:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you are feeling better purpleposting4 I am sure it is all for the best.
  • Purpleposting - whats your secret, my husband would rather be on the breadline than give up his precious Sky Sports!!!!

Am feeling quite positive today, havent been feeling great as I have been getting hung up about Christmas. Have looked at my Next and my Additions online statements, and my minimum payments have gone down from around £90 to £60 and £55 each. Im really happy! - obviously im going to keep making overpayments, but if I have a bad month moneywise, I wont have to struggle to find nearly £200!

Well I've only managed to put £2 of change into change jar today
I cocked up my budget for this week as included maintenance money from ex who was supposed to give me a cheque last week and he's just given one of the kids a crumpled up scuffy looking cheque tonight  Will have to pop to bank in lunch hour tomorrow to pay it in and then wait 3-4 days for it to clear!!! Don't know why I'm surprised he does it every month!!!! Sorry for the rant :o
